A month passed and one fine day when i returned from school, i saw some boxes lying in the lawn.
My aunt told me that there were some students looking for rooms to live in. They are five in total and have enrolled in college here. She was glad that she finally found tenants for the vacant rooms. She told me to be accomodating and nice and not to scare them away.
I wasn't interested to hear the whole story so I went straight into my room,well the room that i have occupied for sometime now. Since mon and dad have been away due to work, instead of letting us stay alone with some unknown person( that's what my aunt call baby sitters and nannies), my aunt asked us to come over and live at her place which was literally just a block away from our place. She's my mum's sister and have two kids, a boy and a girl. Both of them are in college, (NY baby). I changed into pyjamas and a loose shirt, put on my fav music and soon i was in my own world.
A knock on my door woke me up and i saw my brother with badminton rackets in his hands. I knew what was going on his little head.
"Xi let's see how long you will last this time ." He challenged me and he knew how much i don't like it.
"Fine. But my little Ziah if you loose this time, ice cream for a whole week on you." i knew he'll lose anyway.

Later that day, i was completing my school work when i heard a lot of noises from the upper floor. I wanted to go straight upstairs and tell them to shut up but i couldn't as they were our new tenants and i promised my aunt that i would be on my "best behaviour".
I called Gia to know her plans for the weekend. She asked me to come to her place as her parents will be out and we can have a movie night.
"Sounds cool." i smirked. i just wanted to run away from all this noise, well Gia's house was just two blocks away and my aunt never minded us having sleepovers at each other's place.
We selected war horse and 17 again both by rock, paper , scissors and she won.
"I really suck at rock paper scissors and we are never gonna decide movies like this." She rolled her eyes at me. Well Gia is closest to what i can call a sister.
We have been friends since third grade and we have stuck together since then.
"Okay gal chill. I know you agreed because both were fantastic movies." She was right. I actually loved the movies. But my mind was all messed up. We were going to college next year and i so wanted to stick together with the friends i had. But thats life. And we all had our own plans.
" Am so gonna miss you Xi." She snapped me outta my thoughts.
" Yeah. Me too"
We had pizza for dinner and she slept but i tried hard but couldn't. His face was still there. Finally i got up and pushed the play button on my music player and dozed off.

"Xi, are you done window shopping because i'm starving." I don't know how, but every once in a while especially on Sundays , we end up going for shopping no matter how little the things are. And no matter how small the things that we want are, we never complaint. Gia cried and i felt pity for her. I knew she can't control her hunger and she will start crying like a baby any minute.
"Yep. I'm done. Let's get you something to eat bro." We both giggled and went to fill our roaring stomachs.
I ended up buying a novel and Gia got a baby pink nail paint for her. She dragged me along to get her hair and nails done. i started reading my copy of Wuthering Heights while she was dolling herself up. I never minded going along with her to salons and such places. Though i looked absolutely out of place in a salon like that or a store whre she buys her stuff, i sticked with her just like she would always stick with me while i choose what to read next.
I had to prepare for Monday morning classes, so i went back home(yeah, that's what i have been calling my aunt's place since last summer, and no doubt it does feels like so). I was getting my things ready and Zia was there sitting on my bed telling me about our new tenants .
They were five friends from Forks. They had come to Elderwood to join college and were doing some internship also. One was a Literature major and two were studying Law. The other two were on sports scholarship and had taken up History and Fine arts respectively. I wasn't interested in who's who so i told him to just leave me be since i got a text from Gia regarding the last minute changes in our upcoming LitQuiz coming week. Thr thought that the quiz has been preponed started to haunt me and i wanted to get back to preparations as soon as i can.
I finished the trivia that i was taking online to prepare for the quiz around midnight and i wanted to just sleep but the moon was shining in its fullest and it made me want to go out and bathe in that moonlight like Edward from Twilight. ( What to say, that's how this crazy brain of mine works all the time).
I jumped off the bed and got out in the garden. It was actually very calming and trust me not creepy at all. The cool breeze made my hair move like i was in some rom com and it made it smile how everything was so romantic for me all the time and how i was still single. I decided that it was enough of moonbathing for one night when i felt someone's eyes on me . I saw a shadow behind the glass door of the upper floor and when that person sensed that i have seen him, he came out in the light. I gasped for breath and it felt like someone has literally punched me in my stomatch. And for a second i thought i was dreaming coz he was that beautiful stranger from my dreams............
