I crumble the slip of paper in my pocket and run over to Kim.
"Mom!!" I yell.
"What's wrong??" She says urgently.
I show her the paper and she gasps.
"Mom, he's out to kill Shawn...maybe even Mahogany since she's our child." I say as I start to sob.
"Sweetie, calm down."
"I can't mom. I'm going. I have no choice at all."
I run upstairs and I see Shawn in our room, holding Mahogany.
"Hey." I say, sitting down next to him.
"Hey babe. What's wrong?" He asks, handing Mahogany to me.
"Nothing..." I look into her eyes.
She's gonna be just like Shawn.
I just know it.
There's absolutely no doubt about it.
She may only be a few months old, but she has Shawn's dark hair, long legs, and perfect jaw line.
But her eyes.
When she was first born, her eyes were dark.
Now they're brown with gold and blue flakes.
Maybe she got her eyes from my birth mom or dad.....
Shawn sighs and continues writing.
I take Mahogany over to the bed and just lay down with her.
I pull out my phone and she's obviously interested.
She starts tapping and trying to take it, while I laugh.
"No mahogany. That's not a toy, it's my phone." I laugh.
Shawn turns around and sees her trying to take/chew on my phone.
"She's gonna be addicted to technology like you isn't she?" He laughs.
"Maybe..." I sigh.
"Kaelin, tell me what's wrong." He whispers.
"Why?"
"Because you're my girlfriend and I get concerned when you're sad."
I don't even look at him when I hand him the note.
"First he tries to make out with you, then he almost kills our child, and now this?!?!?!" Shawn yells.
"Shhh. Mahogany's asleep." I whisper.
"Sorry. But I'm going with you. No matter what."
"Just make sure he won't see you. I don't want you to get hurt Shawn."
