When I reached my house, I walked inside prepared to tell my mom the hilarious things Shawn's dear old mother had said to me today. We love to make fun of those Botox filled, soccer mom types.
"Ma!" I called, once I entered the door.
"Cayate," She whispered as she walked over to the couch,
"Ma, the funniest thing happened to me while I was in Burbank," I gushed
"Qué? What happened?" She asked in two languages
I told her the story of what Shawn's mom had said to me, she laughed and then asked, "Are you seriously gonna become a maid?"
"I don't know, the money is good and I'll be at Shawn's house all the time." I said
"Who's Shawn?" My mom asked
"T and I think he's hot, but he's nobody important," I semi lied
She nodded and patted my knee before getting up to go to the fridge.
I headed to my room, when I ran into Gelissa.
"Where were you?" She asked
"Mind ya business," I said
Gelissa pulled my ear, "Where the fuck were you? With your rich friends?"
"Yes! Gelissa, now let go!" I yelped
"Don't mess with Anglos, I've told you this Jordan, and I heard from T that you signed up for cheer."
"Tianna doesn't know what she's talking about," I said, mad that T would rat me out like that.
"Yeah, yeah, T was here looking for you. Mamá thought you were with her, luckily I saved your ass and lied for you," Gelissa recalled
"No one told you to lie for me," I said
"No one had to tell me to, I know your gonna get hurt but if you wanna get hurt then I'll let you," Gelissa warned
"You're such a bitch, just mind yourself and leave me and T alone." I said, pulling her hand off of me and pulling down the staircase to my room.
