I guess the awkwardness restarted as soon as we got in the car.
"I'm sorry, Tab, but I just can't, y'know. I have kids...and...and a wife! I just can't, I'm really sorry."
"It's okay." I lied. Honestly, my heart sunk as low as the Mariana trench when Chester said that. That kiss was worth far more than just skin touching skin, for me, at least, but he was right; he did have a wife - a family! I guess reality has to catch up at some point, but how nice it would be to live in that moment forever.
We reached my house soon after and if I thought my heart couldn't sink any further, I was wrong. As soon as I saw home, reality finally caught up properly and I was forced to accept the fact that I couldn't pretend Chester hadn't rejected me any more. He stopped the car just in front of the drive and sighed.
"Look, just...thanks for watching the kids...It was nice." He smiled weakly and handed me a large wad of cash. I looked at it in shock. That was way more than the 20 bucks I expected. I took it gingerly and got out before waving to him as he drove off into the distance.
"It was nice for me too." I whispered as I walked back up to my house, the money in my hand and my heart now in the core of the earth.

Okay, I did not under any circumstances expect to earn that much money in one night. Want to know how much Chester gave me? Come on, guess...
200.That's right, I got 200 for one night.
Although, even that much couldn't match the moment we had. I spent all night up, pacing my room, thinking about it. Eventually, my mind ran out of thoughts and I ended up on a constant cycle of I wish I could go back, I wish I could go back, I wish... but I guess soon enough, I must have gotten so tired that I fell asleep, lulled by my regret. And judging by the fact that I woke up on the floor, I must have been too tired to even get into bed. I didn't even have the energy to make an effort in class the next day - and everyone knows I'm a real try-hard.
After school ended, Sarah, Abi and I went to the same diner Chester took me to. I protested, but they persisted and two against one doesn't fair well, especially when I'm concerned. So, there we were, sitting on picnic tables outside the diner, the two of them discussing whatever boy issues and classes were bothering them whilst I was sipping at my shake in silence, trying not to get too down hearted. My mind kept replaying that night over and over. I glanced in the diner window and had to do a double take.
Triple.
Four times.
There, at the counter, stood the man I was trying my best to ignore, staring at me just as shocked. We stared a little longer before I couldn't take it anymore and forced an overly bright fake smile.
"Oh, Tabi, you come here sometimes too. That's cute." I heard Sabine before I saw her. I spun round as fast as was humanly possible.
"S-Sometimes." I blurted out way too quickly. She just smiled.
"Hey, are you free to sit on Thursday? Maybe you could, uh, clean my bathroom ha ha..." She laughed and added when I didn't: "It's a joke."
"Uh...." I said.

Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god.
Never in my life had I felt such raw pleasure before. Chester kissed and blessed every part of me, teasing me and making me...well...y'know. And oh god when he went in and started to thrust. I thought I was going to die from the intensity. And in the back of his car! We panted and sweat poured off of our bodies as we moved until he grunted out.
"Quick...get off...get off." He pushed me off as he released and we wound ourselves down. I laughed quietly.
"We made a mess."
He looked at me with his eyebrows raised and snorted.
"We made a mess?!" He slumped back onto the floor of the car, laughing and I joined in.
This man was going to be the death of me.
