Olivia is eager to get to the gym, the next day.
She wants to know if Demi is going to be there and if she is okay. She didn't expect Demi to really call her, yesterday, but still, she was hoping to get that call.
She wanted to hear Demi's voice.
She wanted to be able to talk to her.
She just wanted to spent time with her. Even if it was only over the phone.
But, of course, Demi didn't call.Livia knows she's being stupid, constantly hoping that Demi will warm up to her and they can become friends. She knows she shouldn't be thinking that way, but she can't help it. Demi makes her feel something great. Something she wants to feel every second of every day. And that can only be that way, if Demi is around.
"Do I have to get Liam today?" Olivia calls her brother, just to check that she doesn't have to get him, cause he didn't call.
"No, thanks. He's at his grandmothers house now" Ben replies.
"Oh, okay. Bye" she hangs up, as she wants to get to the gym already.
On her way there, she thinks about her nephew spending time with his grandmother.
He only gets limited visits to his mom's side of the family and he actually hasn't seen his mom in more then two years.
It's all very complicated and she feels very bad that her brother has to go through all of that.
That's why she tries to help him as much as possible, by watching Liam.
Olivia is, however, kind of relieved that she doesn't have to watch the boy today. She could use some time alone.
Or with Demi.-
Demi comes home from her job that day, but doesn't get ready to go to the gym.
Her sisters are there, to talk with her and her mom.
They want to set this straight and see what's going to happen with their father.Demi doesn't want to talk about it. She wants to get to the gym and see Olivia and maybe also Liam. She doesn't want to think about her dad possibly visiting.
"He doesn't deserve anything" she grumbles, before anyone can say anything, "He's an ass and I don't want to see him"
Nora, Nathalie and Caroline look at Demi with sympathy.
They know Demi was extremely hurt when he left.
She used to be his little princess. They all were, but her being the youngest, she always got more attention. It never bothered them, since they gave her more attention, too. That's just how it is when you're the youngest of the family. You get spoilt by everyone cause you're the cute little baby of the family.
She was the apple of her father's eye. She was his pride. His joy.
So when he left, it hurt her more then her two older sisters.
It hurt all of them. Nora, Nat and Caroline too.
But it hurt their little girl more then anyone.Nathalie doesn't know what she wants. She loves her dad a lot, even after what he has done to their mom and family. But what Demi said makes sense to her.
He doesn't deserve it. He left. That was his choice. He doesn't just come back like that. That's not how it works. That's not how life works.Caroline, on the other hand, misses her dad. She is mad at him, but her love for him is overpowering. She thinks it will be good to see him again. Good for her, as well as for Nathalie and Demi.
Especially for Demi, even. Maybe, seeing her dad, will bring Demi back. Will bring back the sweet happy girl she used to be.Nora doesn't know what would be good.
What she does know, is that she is not letting that man into her house. He's done more then enough damage to herself, as well as her daughters, when he left them.
She's more concerned about Demi, though. Seeing her dad will either make everything go back to how it used to be and make Demi go back to the carefree girl she used to be. Or the total opposite. It'll make Demi isolate even more. It will make Demi shut out the only people she hasn't shut out, yet."I don't like this conversation. Can I please just go?" Demi groans, shaking the three other woman, out of their thoughts.
"No, you can't, Demi. We need to decide if he's gonna come or not" Caroline replies, while Nat, as well as Nora, think that maybe it would be a good idea to let Demi go.
Especially Nora thinks so. She's seen the way Demi looked when she came home from her workout, yesterday. Maybe she'd come home happy again today. That would be good. They all look at each other in silence, not knowing what to say.
"Look, he hasn't called again anyway, so maybe he doesn't even want to come. I gave you all my opinion, which is that he shouldn't come to visit. Can I now please go to do my workout?" Demi pleads.
"Yes, Demi, you can go. But be back in an hour" her mother gives her a warm smile, while her oldest sister does, too. Her second sister is not too thrilled, though.
Demi makes a run for it. She grabs her stuff and is out of the house, within two minutes.
She needs to get to the gym. She needs to see Olivia. She's already a lot later then usual as she's scared that Olivia has already left.As soon as she's out of the house, Caroline speaks up.
"Why did you let her go? This is about her, too" she complains.
"Like she said, she gave her opinion. We know what she wants and you know how important her workout is for her, Caroline. Let her go. If we imprison her here, to talk about something she doesn't want to talk about, it's only gonna push her away more, and you know it" Nat replies.
"And did you see the way she ran out of the house. I forgot to tell you two, but yesterday she came home and she was happier then usual. Something happened in the gym. Either she met someone, or I don't know what, but she's opening up a little, outside of the house, too" their mother explains.
A smile immediately forms on both of Nora's daughters faces.
They are both very worried about Demi. She's their little sister and it hurts to see her in pain and isolate herself from everyone. Hearing that she might be doing better, makes them very happy."Okay, then I guess you're right" Caroline smiles, "As long as Demi is happy"

Meanwhile, Olivia looks at her watch. She's been here for almost an hour already, and still no sign of Demi.
Usually Demi comes only a few minutes after she does. Where is she today? Isn't she coming?Maybe I pushed her away. Maybe giving her my phone number was too much. Maybe I shouldn't have even hugged her.
Those thoughts go through Olivia's mind. She's scared that Demi won't come anymore and she'll never see her again.
And she has no way of contacting her, since she gave Demi her phone number, but she doesn't have Demi's.She sighs, as she collects her stuff. She can't wait for Demi forever now, can she?
She will just have to go home and come back tomorrow and hope to see Demi then.Olivia opens the door to get out and heard someone breathing heavily, indicating that that person is out of breath.
She doesn't give it a second thought, as she steps out of the gym and bumps right into that person.
Before she knows it, that person calls out her name and wraps it's arms around her neck.
