Chapter 14
I open my eyes slightly blinded by light I then shut my eyes quickly ,I go to stretch my arm but I feel so much pain so I just lay still. I try to get a word out but my throat was just too dry and all that came out was a tiny squeak.
I felt myself getting tired and then soon enough I zoned out.
'What happens I she doesn't make it' I hear a males voice 'Andy I'm sure she will make it,it's going to be okay' 'Naomi it's been 2 weeks what if she's dying' 'Andrew Hurley don't you dare think that,I know Sam she will pull through' from that last sentence I then fell into a deep sleep. My boyfriend and bestfriend are sat talking next to me. But where the hell am I and what happened.
I hear a crash and immediately I wake up and my eyes open instantly,I jolt up and I'm greeted by a nurse. "Ah Samantha your awake" "uh yeah could you tell me where I am and why and how long I've been here please" so many questions that need answering..
"Well Samantha you were beaten up quite bad by a man called harry,he's been arrested. Your in the hospital in East wing block 12 and you have been here a month and a half,do you have any other questions?" She asks "Just one more...how's my baby" I ask slightly worried. "You suffered a miscarriage I am so sorry,you lost so much blood and the baby didn't make it,we weren't sure if you were even going to make it."
I just started crying loads,my beautiful little girl was gone. "I'll leave you for a minute" the nurse said just as she left.
I just feel depressed now,thinking about how close I was to death from my ex was awful but the worse thing is that he killed my baby. The nurse enters my room again "Miss Hopkins you have a few visitors do you want me to send them in" visitors great just what I need right now. "Yeah sure thanks" she leaves me alone to be by myself once again. Just as I close my eyes I hear the door open but I don't bother looking who it is "hey sweetie" those two words make me furious "get out now"
