Pic of Amy on the side (: unedited*

Home. That's where I've been for most of my summer. I mean, yeah I hung out with a few friends here and there but overall I've been at home doing nothing. Just bored.

Thankfully school starts next week though. I can't wait to get through my last year of high school. I've been working my butt off these past three years so it'd pay off and I could get into my dream college or another really good university. I want to go to New York University (NYU). I once did a project on the college in 8th grade, fell in love and have wanted to go ever since. I did a lot of research and it's expensive. That's why I've been working my butt off. So I can hopefully get a full scholarship and have a free ride or to get some scholarships. But I'd have a ton of student loans.

"Amy!" My mother calls interrupting my thoughts. Suspecting she wantse to come downstairs, I go.

"Yes mom?" I say. She has a lot of groceries in hand. Great. I have to help unload and put them away. So before she can say anything else i'm out the door to get the groceries but stop in my tracks when I see a boy around my age taking out groceries.

"Hey! Who are you? You better put those down now before I call the cops." I say trying to sound intimidating. My mom comes out the house calling my name.

"Amy! He's helping me put them in the house as a kind gesture." I've never seen him before so I'm questioning my mothers sanity.

"Mom! You don't even know this guy." I say dramatically while throwing my hands in the air. Sometimes my mom is too naïve for her own good. She thinks everyone is the good guy when in reality most people are the bad guys. She just needs to learn that you can't trust everybody.

"Amy, he's the new neighbor across the street and he offered when he seen me having a hard time carrying the groceries." I look at her for a moment and roll my eyes then turn to reacknowledge the boy that is helping with the groceries.

"Okay, so what's your name?" I ask politer than the first time I spoke to him. There's something about his stance and the way he looks that screams 'I'm gay' but I don't pay it mind.

"I'm Justin, Nice to meet you." He reaches out to shake my hand. Yeah he's definitely gay, his voice gave it away and I can already tell that we will be good friends.

"Yeah you too, when you're done would you like to hang out for a little while? It'd be nice to make a friend before school since you're new." I throw in a smile hoping he says yes.

"Well my mom did tell me to start unpacking my room but I don't think she'd mind since I'm only across the street and it's only 2:30." He says pointing back to his house

I give him a nod and let him past so he can put the groceries in the house. Once he's done with that we head upstairs to my room. There's an awkward silence so I decide to speak.

"So.."

"So.."

We say at the same time and erupt into laughter. After that it's not awkward anymore and we settle into easy conversation. He's mostly doing the talking but I'm fine with it.

He tells me about his life back in Texas before he moved here and asks me a few questions about what it's like to live in Washington. I tell him all the things to do and things not to do and I find myself really liking him.

I've never had a gay friend before and now I understand why people say "get you a gay friend, they're the best." They were so right.

"So how are the people at your school? In terms of when someone is gay, like me?" I've never really payed much attention to people at school but as far as I know nobody really cares.

"I don't think they care, to be honest we have quite a few gay people at the school and it sucks because some of them are so hot." I say dragging out the 'o' in so.

"You'll be in heaven, I'm sure of it. I just hope we have the same taste in men or it'll be like I lied to you." I giggle and he shakes his head me.
"Okay I know a way to find out." He gives me a slight mischievous look. I'm kind of scared because who knows what's going on in this guy's head.

"Okay, how?" I say suspiciously. He breaks out into a huge grin and takes out his phone.

"Take your phone out, and we're gonna search up our top 3 favorites for hottest male celebrities. Then compare and share opinions." I shake my head and chuckle at him.

"Okay, but I'm telling you I have great taste."

For about 5-10 minutes we think and search and it's really hard because there are so many hot celebrities like the Franco brothers, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Douglas Booth, and don't even get me started on Zac Effron.

Finally after debating over about 7 people I end up with Chris Evans, Harry Styles, and Douglas Booth. I'm sure I could do better but Justin was done and waiting on me.

"So, your top three?" I ask him. I go to look but he snatches his phone away from view. I pout and pucker out my bottom mumbling a "please" but he doesn't give in like I hoped.

"Show me yours first." He smirked.

"No fair I asked you first!" Whining like a child. He laughs at my whining and give me a 'show me or I won't show you' look and I give up.

He takes my phone and makes faces at the people I chose. I can't tell whether he likes them or not and I get a little nervous.

"I only agree with you on Chris Evans, total hottie." He fans himself as if he's dying from how hot he was.

"Harry Styles he's, eh. And I've never heard of Douglas Booth so." I look at him like he's grown two heads.

"Are you crazy?! Harry Styles is soo hot, if I had the chance, I'd take it. If you know what I mean." I shrug my eyebrows up and down suggestively.

"And Douglas Booth? Let me show you." I type in his name in the search bar of Safari on my IPhone. He looks and raises his eyebrows and then looks at me. I hate that I can't tell whether he likes it or not so I wait.

Finally after a long pause which probably only lasted about 15 seconds he says, "okay, total hottie." He drags out the 'o' in total.

"See, I have good taste." I set my hands on my hips content.

"Now come on, show me yours." He sighs and finally hands me his phone.

"Don't judge okay? But I couldn't pick just three." I roll my eyes and chuckle lightly mumbling an 'okay'

"Actually I'll just read it to you." He takes his phone back looking at the names and he begins to read them off.

"Okay so, Zac Effron, Miguel Angel Silvestre, Cameron Monaghan, and Noel Fisher." He says with a content smile. Right as I was about to respond he burst out,

"AND DRAKE. I CANT LEAVE DADDY DRAKE OUT." I burst into laughter at his outburst and I'm clutching my stomach at how funny it was.

"Shut up." He says a slight blush creeping up his neck with a sheepish smile on play. My laughing more like cackling settles down into a light chuckle and I apologize for laughing so hard. He just shrugs and asks me what I think of the people he chose.

"I totally have to agree with you on Zac Effron like ugh so hot. The rest are eh. But I will say Cameron Monaghan is cute." His face contorts into one of disgust and he makes the 'gag me' face.

"How dare you?!" He says accusingly.

"I can't believe you said they were 'eh' they are not 'eh' more so uggghhhh in hotness." He does the dramatic fanning himself.

"Whatever." I say and he laughs lightly then checks the time on his phone noticing it was now past 4pm and bidding a bye before heading out.

Okay, so this is not my first book but it's the first one I'm putting on wattpad. I'm excited but also nervous because I don't know if it'll do very well...

I hope so though! Vote and comment your opinions please!!
