The Two of Us

Chapter 8

Noel-

I curled my hair then began my make up seeing as it was 5:00. I made sure I had a cute set of bra and panties on before pulling on my dress  and then slipping on my shoes.

Hey, Stacey was right my ass looks great. Who would've thought.

I grabbed a clutch placing my phone, cash and credit cards.

I then walked to the living room and sitting on the couch next to Stacey and Krista.

" Damn ma, lemme get yo number." Krista said.

" Shut up." I mumbled swatting her arm. I looked down at her phone seeing that it was 6:15 I huffed just as the there was a knock at the door." Oh, he's here!"

I went to the door fixing my hair and dress before swinging the door open only to find Cameron outside my door.

" Hey baby sister! Why are you so dressed up?" He questioned.

" I have a date, why are you here?"

" Movie night, hey but Levi and  Andy are coming over." He said walking to the living room as I closed the door.

" No, I can't stand them, they're jerks." I whined following him just as there was another knock at the door. I sighed as I went to answer the door. " If you're gonna step in this apartment there are gonna be some rule- Oh, I'm sorry." I stopped as I noticed it wasn't the two people I dreaded but a smirk playing on his lips and damn did he look fine. Suddenly Milo came running and sliding into his leg. "Milo, go to Krista." But the little fur ball wouldn't budge.

" Hey little guy." G said picking up Milo. I think my heart just exploded. He set Milo down before looking back at me. " You look stunning."

" Thank you, you look really, really good." I said causing him laugh a bit.

" Shall we get going?" He asked.

" We shall." I said grabbing my clutch and closing the door behind me as we walked down the hall to the elevator. As we stepped in the elevator I took in his appearance; black button up, black jeans, black shoes, and a black leather jacket. My eyes met his face  to see him watching me intently. I looked away feeling heat tinge my cheeks." Um so where are we having dinner?" I asked as we made our way to his car and him opening the door for me.

I watched as he made his way around and starting the car and driving in the direction of where ever the destination was.

" It's called something like Lark Creek Steak." He said. I nodded as we proceeded in the car ride. His hand finding my thigh and gripping it causing my cheeks to burn once again as he rubbed circles.

I sighed as we continued to drive as there was a complete silence, although it was comfortable.

As soon as we got to the restaurant G stepped out of the car jogging around the front just to open my door. I gradually took his hand as I stepped out and followed him inside. Our hands brushed each other's a few times before his fingers intertwined with mine. Causing me to smile.

As we got inside G whispered something to the host before he guided us to a secluded area of the restaurant. We were handed menus and were left to decide our meal. I looked down to read the entrées and my eyes widening at the prices but knowing they'd be small dishes. I gulped and then G looked up at me and smiled noticing my facial expression.

Honestly I wouldn't mind just going to a fast food place.

Then G leaned over the table. "How do you feel about ditching this place and getting a burger?" He asked.

" Oh my goodness, yes please." I responded back earning a smile of satisfaction.

We sat in his car eating In- N -Out. I swallowed a bite of my burger before turning to Gerald.

" This is actually a great start to a date, not gonna lie." I said laughing.

" I was actually nervous to ask you out, I mean like this isn't usually what I do." He informed.

" I was surprised you even asked me out." I said. "But I can honestly say I'm glad you did."

" I am too." He spoke." This actually has to be my best dates by far."

We continued eating our burgers before we made our way to the pier looking at a show and then going to see the seals. I leaned on the railing just as the sea breeze hit my face causing chills to run down my body. G noticing and taking his jacket off and placing it on my shoulders. I thanked him and then turned to look at him as he looked at the seals. He had such a nice profile. Suddenly I was caught and my eyes widening and looking away as he stifled a laugh.

" You're so adorable." He mumbled as he put a finger under my chin to make me look at him.i met his gaze as he inched closer. His nose brush against mine causing my eyes to flutter shut until his lips finally met mine. His lips were so soft and delicate with mine, as if he'd break them some how. My lips were left cold as soon as his left. I opened my eyes too see his bottom lip tucked between his teeth.
