Nalate ng uwi si Kathy dahil pass seven in the evening na siya nakauwi dahil na rin sa sobrang pagkalibang niya sa oras na magkasama sila ni Bismark. Pagpasok ni Kathy ay nagulat pa siya dahil nagkalat sa loob ng condo nila ni Kendrick kaya tinignan niya ang buong paligid para icheck kung nasa loob ng condo ang mag-ama niya at kung ninakawan nga sila. Nang matapos niyang libutin ang buong condo at icheck kung may nawawala bang importanteng gamit sa unit nila. Sa pagkakacheck niya ay kumpleto naman lahat ng gamit nila kaya kahit nagtataka ay inayos niya ang mga gamit, sinimulan niya sa kwarto nila ni Kendrick para malinis ito pagdating ng kanyang mag-ama ngunit laking gulat niya ng bigla niyang nakita si Kendrick galing bathroom.
" Kanina ka pa diyan Kendrick? Bakit ang gulo ng buong unit? May nakapasok ba dito?" sunod sunod na tanong ni Kathy kay Kendrick.
Umiwas naman si Kendrick sa kanya at umupo ng kama nila, napansin naman ni Kathy ang kanang kamay ni Kendrick na may benda. Lumapit siya rito.
" What happen Kendrick? Bakit may benda at mukhang may sugat pa ang kamay mo? " Kathy
Tinignan siya ni Kendrick ng matalim at pakiramdam niya may tumutusok sa kanya na unti unting bumabaon sa kanya kaya napaatras siya. Tumayo naman si Kendrick sa kanyang pagkakaupo at hinarap si Kathy.
" Where have you been? You lost for almost half of a day and..." Kendrick na sinusuri ang kanyang kabuuan. " Where the hell did you get that shirt?" matalim ang mga matang ibinigay ni Kendrick.
" K-Kendrick, I-I j-just went to my f-friend a-and..." Kathy
" Friend? Is he too important that you can't able to inform me where the hell you are?! As I remember that we have a deal that I should know whatever or wherever you do should be has my permission?! " Kendrick na di na niya napigilan at hinawakan niya sa magkabilang braso si Kathy ng mahigpit.
" K-kendrick i-it's h-hurt. " Kathy na napangiwi sa sakit.
" Don't fool me Kathy! Tell me the truth! " Kendrick
" K-kendrick d-di kita niloloko a-at n-nasasaktan na ako please. " Kathy
Binitiwan ni Kendrick si Kathy at naupo sa kama. Napahawak siya sa ulo at napayuko.
" I told you, don't make me fool. You have no idea how much I hurt, all i want is telling me the truth and you failed me to trust you. " tumayo si Kendrick at hinarap si Kathy na may mga luhang mababakas sa mga mata nito. " I know that you are with Bismark and it's hurt me but I choose to trust you that you will tell me that. I thought everything will run smoothly to our relationship but all of this was full of lie. I felt i was betray by the woman I love most, now i understand everything. " Kendrick at naglakad na palabas ng kwarto.
" Kendrick please. I'm sorry. Please listen to me first, I will explain everything. " Kathy ngunit di na siya pinansin ni Kendrick at nagtuloy lang ito maglakad. " Kendrick please for the sake to our daughter. Please let's talk, I know it's only a misunderstanding let's..." Kathy
" Misunderstanding? Did you hear yourself? All I hear from you is lie story. You throw me like a useless things and for that I will make sure that you won't see Kendthy anymore. I will do everything to win the custody. " Kendrick at tumalikod na muli kay Kathy.
Nagulat si Kathy sa sinabi ni Kendrick kaya hinabol niya ito bago pa makalabas ng pinto.
" No Kendrick. You can't do this to me. " Kathy na nagpipigil ng luha.
" Yes I can Kathy. Just wait and I will surely do it. " Kendrick na binuksan na ng tuluyan ang pinto ngunit saglit na tumigil ito at nagsalita muli. " Don't worry, i will set you free. I will send you our annullment paper, all you have to do is to sign. " Kendrick at tuluyan ng lumabas ng pinto.
Di na nakayanan ni Kathy at tuluyan na siyang napaupo sa sahig. Bumagsak na ng tuluyan ang mga luhang kanina pa niya pinipigilan. Masakit kay Kathy na isiping hihiwalayan na siya ni Kendrick at ang mas masakit ay tinangay pa nito ang anak nila na natitira niyang kaligayahan.
Kendrick's pov
Masakit na malamang nakikipagkita pa rin si Kathy kay Villareal ng palihim. I trusted her about this matter but she still keep going specially knowing kung bakit sila nagkikita ng palihim, obviously they really love each other kaya nagawa sila ng way to see each other and that was hurt me so much. Also knowing that the girl I love was inlove with someone else. That's why I decided to end up with her but my daughter should be in my custody. Naputol ang malalim kong pag-iisip ng may tumabi sa akin dito sa bar na walang iba kundi si Ana.
" Rick, honey. " Ana na kumapit pa sa braso ni Kendrick
" Ana, please leave me alone. " Kendrick in cold tone
" Rick, I know you're hurt that's why I decided to meet you to comfort you. " Ana
" Doesn't matter if I'm hurt and please leave. I don't need you to accompany me either. " Kendrick at ininom ang alak.
" Rick, please don't be too harsh to me. All this time I did my best to prove how much I love you and I'm confident to tell you many times that nothing change. Your still in my heart and I willingly to be with you for the rest of my life. " Ana
Napabuntong hininga si Kendrick at humarap kay Ana.
" I want to be frank with you Ana. Honestly, I do love you but as my sister. But since you make me fool when I got my memory loss, i realized that I'm not worth it for you. Thank you for loving me but sorry because I can't return the same thing to you. I rather saw you hurting for my coldness treat rather than pretending to my true feeling, in the end we're both will ruin and live in hell. Thank you to make me realized that i need to respect her and to her feelings. I will end up everything for her and focus to my life with my daugther. " Kendrick at bumalik sa pag-inom.
" How about to love again Rick? You need someone to be with you and will take care of your daughter. " Ana
" Ana, stop hoping. I already decided, I will living alone with my daughter. There's no more place for love and you know my reason, the one and only one reason. So please. Leave. " Kendrick at nilagok ang natitira pang alak.
Wala naman nagawa si Ana but to leave. Iniwan niya si Kendrick, bago siya tuluyang umalis ay nilingon pa niya ito at malungkot na umalis sa bar na yun. Pagdating niya ng sasakyan ay tinawagan niya ang assistant si Kendrick.
" Marco, please accompany Kendrick here at the bar and he really needs you. Please. Thank you. " Ana
