"So this is what Hell is like," I murmur, trudging behind the tall demon in front of me. "Not as much death as I expected."
Kuroo sends me a look. "It's not as bad as everyone thinks it's going to be, it's actually much better than heaven," He explains while continuing to walk forward. "Sure, we punish people, but only the ones who deserve to be. Such as abusers, killers, rapists. We never kill them though. That would giving them too much mercy."
I stare at Kuroo for awhile before I shrug it off. We continue to walk through the street, what I'm assuming is the street, and I feel eyes on me. "Kuroo?" I call out. My feet trudge forward a little faster. Kuroo doesn't respond but pulls me forward. He wraps his right arm around my shoulders in a protective manner.
"Ignore them. They won't hurt you as long as I'm with you," A chaste kiss is placed on my temple.
"Okay," I don't push his arm away but rather grab onto his hand with my own smaller hand. Kuroo looks away and I can see that a light blush is dusting his features. I choose to stay silent about it, I don't want to embarrass him. We continue silently on our path, arm still slung around me and our hands connected. I ended up looking online for the symptoms I was feeling around Kuroo. Everything points to being in love. I don't like it.
We come up to a bunch of strange looking houses. I'm not sure what to make of them. Kuroo lightly drags me up the steps to what seems to be his house. "Mom! Momma! I'm home!" We're met with silence before two women appear before us.
"Hello Kenma!!! Kuroo's told us all about you!" The shorter woman speaks up. She has the same skin tone as Kuroo and the same eye color.
"Why hello there," The other woman purrs before Kuroo and the short woman send her a glare. She has the same hair color and body structure as Kuroo. I look up to Kuroo expectantly to make the introductions for us.
"Kenma, this is my mom, Sahara," He says while pointing at the shorter woman. "And this is my other mom, Lust." He gestures to the taller one as she sends a wink my way. Kuroo gives her a disgusted look before turning to see my reaction.
"Hello Sahara, Lust," I curtly nod at each of them respectively. Sahara's eyes go wide as she pulls me in for a hug.
"Kuroo, you didn't tell us they're this cute!" Sahara squeals while spinning me in the air. I look to Kuroo for help.
"Yes I did, Momma, you just weren't paying attention. Now if you'll please let go of my partner, we will kindly be on our way," Kuroo makes a grab for me but Lust beats him to it.
"You're much prettier than I thought you'd be, though I know my Kuroo has good taste," Lust purrs into my ear, stroking my arm seductively. Or what would be seductively if I wasn't grossed out.
"Can you please stop, Mrs. Lust? This is making me really uncomfortable," I push against her arms. Sahara and Lust both stare at me in awe.
"You heard them, let Kenma go," Kuroo smirks. Lust mimics him but lets me go back to Kuroo's arms. He wraps his arm around my lower back. "Now if you'll excuse us, we'll be going up to my room. No disturbances please."
We walk up the stairs to Kuroo's room and I'm pleasantly surprised. Which doesn't happen very often. It's very clean and well-kept. A bed, desk, complete with computer, bookshelf, and TV adorn his room. His shelves is lined with mangas, books, and movies. "Nice room," I comment.
"Thanks. Wanna watch a movie?" He heads toward his bookshelf as he begins to pull out some options.
"Sure, you can watch what you want," I suggest as I grab a manga that's above him. It's called Haikyuu!! The main character looks a lot like Shouyu
"Okay, sounds good. I can watch Quarantine and you can read that," Kuroo sets up the TV. I wait until he's seated on the bed so I can cuddle up to his side while reading.
We settle into each other. Our legs are intertwined and my back is leaning on his shoulder. His arm is loosely wrapped around my collarbone. My stomach feels warm and my head feels fuzzy again. So this is what love feels like. I lean my head against his shoulder and Kuroo presses a soft kiss on my forehead. He sends me a quick grin before turning back to the movie. This doesn't feel so bad, I think to myself before curling into Kuroo some more and begin to read Haikyuu!!
