Komal

I pushed open the door of the coffee shop with all my strength, and looked around at the place. It was pretty low budget, with simple folding tables and chairs and no proper set out as such. THIS was where Dean wanted to meet me? eek. I sighed, and went straight to the best seat I saw. Nothing spectacular, but better than the rest. As soon as I sat down, a young girl came to take my order. I felt like I had seen her somewhere before....I remember seeing the long dark brown hair, the brown eyes, the braid... No way.... this was the girl that helped me on the road when my car broke down... Wait what was her name again? Sandy? Samantha? Simone? NO WAIT IT WAS SIMRAN!!!!! As soon as she set eyes on me, she exclaimed "No way....Komal???" I smiled.... she was obviously better with names than I was. "Simran!" I screeched. I guess her bubbliness was rubbing off. "I, oh my god I never even got to thank you properly for that night... You were the nicest person I met, and you left so quickly!" She was about to reply, she was cut off. "What the hell were you guys doing on the aforementioned night? Sounds Haaaawwwwwttttt" I turned around, and saw a young boy with longish light brown hair, looking at us with his brown hair and a slight smirk playing up on his lips. I thought of what I had said, and gasped at how wrong I had sounded... I spoke, partially flustered. "Ok mister, number one, we were NOT doing what you think we were you dirty minded creep, and number two, who the fuck are you anyway?" I raised an eyebrow at him. He straightened up, more formal now. "The name is Sam, Sam Winchester. I believe you contacted my brother? I'm here to collect the file..." My face fell, despite my various attempts to cover my disappointment... I was hoping to see Dean... I mean, hadn't he asked me out to coffee? I sighed, and handed Sam the file. Sam said a small "Thanks", smirked at me, winked at Simian, then left. I turned around to pack my handbag, when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Dean standing there. "Didn't you need to get your own file? Plus, a coffee is due", he said to me. I smiled, took my file from him and sat down. He sat down across from me. "Ok, now that that bullcrap is over, what would you two like to have?" Simian said with a jolly smile. I chuckled. "Um ok, one hot chocolate with marshmallow and whipped cream for me, and...." I looked at Dean. He finished up for me. "and another hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream" he said. "Hahahaha you could've just said two you know...Anyway, coming right up!" Simran laughed, and went off to collect our order, leaving me and Dean alone. He was the first to end the awkward silence. "So, Being Human health section having hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream, eh?" He joked. I laughed. "True...however, journalism is my hobby. Health on the other hand.... it's just a part of the job. I'll be honest, I'm definitely not the health freak type." A short conversation later, Simran came back with the order. She placed it on the table with a smile, then left. I saw her leaning against the counter operating what seemed like her phone. I looked at the hot chocolate. It didn't smell so bad, but then again, I trusted nothing from this cheap-ass place. I sipped it cautiously, and my eyes widened as soon as the drink touched my tongue. "THIS IS FRICKIN AWESOMEEEEE!!!!" I squealed. "I know this place doesn't look so nice, but they have the best stuff I tasted" Dean said. Dayum boy... good taste. After that we just talked for a while, while simultaneously enjoying our drinks.

My phone started making a weird noise. I unlocked it, and a reminder notification popped up.

"Article to be submitted in 3 hours!"

Crap. Sitting in the café with Dean was a lot more time consuming then I thought. I had gotten way too   carried away. "Shit shit shit I gotta go", I said to Dean. "Simian can we have the bill?!" I screamed in a rush. I started packing up my bag, leaving some money out. I grabbed the bill from Simran as soon as she was within grabbing range, paid my share, and rushed home.

Phew.... the article was submitted on time. I sighed, scrolling through my Facebook, on my bed, with my back leaning on the headboard. While I was scrolling, a little vibration and a small notification came. Going to the notification bar, I saw a text from Dean.
