"Hang on." I put my hand up to signal stop. "What's on your timetable?" I asked, turning around and looking at him. He pulled out a folded piece of paper from his pocket and handed it to me. I opened it up and looked at the Monday column. "Brants. I have him too." I handed it back to Drake, peering into the class room. Brants looked pissed so I didn't even bother to knock on the door, instead I walked backwards and away from the door. "You really don't want to go in there at the moment." I quickly got a run up and did a commando past the door, walking off casually. "Wait!" Drake followed my same actions and caught up with me easily. "What?" I asked annoyed, listening to Brants heavy footsteps. The Maths door swung open and I knew I was busted. "SMITHSTONE!" He bellowed into the hallway, the bellow echoing off the walls. "Where have you been for the lesson?!" He yelled loudly. I had to block my ears for a second before anwsering. "Sorry sir, but the new kid had me chasing after him around the school." I lied smoothly, seeing Drake look at me in surprise out the corner of my eye. "Oh, the new boy. Sorry about the yelling but Miss Smithstone here like to drive me up the wall. Into class please." His voice changed tone from angry into kind and almost loving. Drake walked into class and I followed him but I was stopped by Brants. "Except you. To the principle's office." I nodded and heard the coos from my 'classmates' - if you could call them that. I walked down the lonely hallway, hearing that damned bell ring again. I ran down past the classrooms and into the front office. "He's waiting for you." Was all I heard from behind the counter. "Thank you." I spoke politely, moving into Mr. Wilson's office. "Hello Mikii. Making trouble in Mr Brants class again?" I came in quietly as he looked up. I shook my head and kept it down. "Please." He pointed to the seat in front of his desk with his hand. I took the seat and looked up at him. Wilson wasn't looking very pissed. "Can you give me an explanation please?" I nodded and spoke quietly. "I was helping the new student get to our Maths class but he kept wandering off so I had to chase him." I lied again smoothly. "Okay, enjoy your recess." He smiled and I returned it back warmly, standing and leaving the office to the front of school and to the park bench I usually sat on. I looked up briefly and saw a familiar head of head. "Drake?" I asked, walking around to the other side of the bench. He nodded and smiled, showing little fangs again. I sat down and folded my hands in my lap. "How did you now I sat here?" I asked stupidly, letting my head rest on the old table. "Your scent lingers here." He spoke casually. "Why do you want to sit with me then?" I asked, looking up at him then grabbing out my sketch book and a few pencils. "Maybe because I have no where else to sit. I've tried finding a corner but that idea failed miserably." I looked at him confused but when a blonde bimbo showed up, it all made sense. "Hey cutie~!" She chimed in a fake voice, making glare at her briefly but went into drawing. "Hi?" He sounded confused, it amused me a lot. "I was wondering if you would like to hang with my clique instead of here with a loner?" She continued to chime, making me put it all away in to my and and take my bag off. I jumped off the bench seat and put a hand on the table, forcing my size 9 converse into her 'thin' stomach and forced her in to the small bit of dirt near the table and sat upon the table. "I think he's better off here than being stuck with you." I laughed at her, moving back to my original seat. She stood up and marched off. I laughed again and pulled out my drawing and continued it smiling. "Why?" I looked up at him after a minute silence. "Why what?" I asked in an annoyed tone. "Why did you stick up for me?" I went back to my drawing and ignored him completely until the bell rang once more. I looked at my timetable and started to walk to my S & E class. "You didn't answer me." I heard Drake's voice sounding angry. "What was that?" I asked myself, still ignoring him. I looked around the hall, letting everyone go into their classes. I turned around to him, anger on my mind. "Don't think we're friends because of what I did or what I have done to cover your sweet ass! We're both enemies and that's how it's going to stay." I hissed harshly, moving on to class. "Why?" I clenched my hands tightly and span around to face him again. "Does the fact that I'm a vampire hunter mean anything to you?!" I yelled at him, not even bothered to listen to what ever he had to say, turned my back and walked into my class quickly. "Sorry I'm late Miss Jones." I spoke quietly, like I usually do. "It's okay, take a seat." She spoke with a smile. I took it quickly and heard a knock at the door, knowing who it was I let my head fall onto the desk with a thud. "Sorry I'm late." He spoke quietly, sounding like me. "No, it's fine. Please introduce yourself to the class." I kept my head as he did his thing and was told to sit next to me again. "Hi!" He chime unnaturally as he past. I ignored him again and finished my work.
