I woke up around 3:00 in the morning and Zach was holding onto me. I started trying to remember what happened and it soon hit me. I looked down at my wrist. There was a fresh scar. I was disgusted with myself for letting my demons get to me. I got up to go to the restroom. "What are you doing?" Zach asked quietly. "I'm just peeing." I said back. "Leave the door open" he said looking up at me. "I'll leave the door unlocked, but not open" I said with a laugh. "Okay" he said smiling then closing his eyes and falling back to sleep. I went into the restroom and looked at myself in the mirror. I saw a small bruise on my thigh, it wasn't that big though. I didn't bother looking at my wrist. I used the restroom and then went back into bed. Zach soon wrapped his arm around me again, and I soon fell asleep.
I woke up around 2:00 and no one was in the room. I got up and went to my suitcase. I wasn't planning on doing anything fun today so I grabbed
A grey sweater that said "BruhItsZach" , purple tie-dye spandex, and fuzzy slippers (picture). And did my morning routine.
I sat on the bed and looked through my phone. Soon everyone came back into the room. Edwin ran up to me and gave me a hug. And then Nick pulled me into a powerful hug which felt nice. Then Timmy. He didn't let ago and I was fine with that. And then rudan and Maddie. I sat on my bed I looked at all of them as they sat down too. "Jade I've seen you like this before. It was finally away, you were doing so good." Zach said. "I know. And I'm really sorry." I said. "No don't be sorry. You're okay. As long as you're okay, I'm okay" Zach said kissing me. Everyone else nodded in agreement. "Jade just know if you ever need anything you can let me know. No matter what it is. I'll be here" Nick said. I smiled at him. "Same here Jade. I'm here for you. I'll stay up all night with you if you need me too" said rudan. "Thanks Rudu" I said to him. "And same here as well. Singing is supposed to calm your nerves so I'll straight up sing to you over the phone if you need it." Timmy smiled. I chuckled and looked down. "You know I'm here for you. No matter what. I'm going to be here for you until the end Jade. We can slay some hoes together. We can tell that boy that treated you like shit some words. Even though I'm pretty sure you and Zach are gonna last. I've got you until the end" Maddie said tearing up. I chuckled "I love you Maddie" "I love you too" next Edwin hugged me. "Please don't do this. You're so beautiful and you're so nice you don't need to do this to yourself. I love you and you've gotta stay strong. I'm here for you." He said still hugging me. "Thank you Edwin. I love you too" I smiled and he let go of the hug. "Okay so you guys. We don't have to actually start doing anything until tomorrow so what do you wanna do today?" Timmy asked. "Can we restart our Netflix day?" I said. And everyone said yes. "But first I've got to make a call" I said reaching for my phone. I called the number back that called me yesterday. It rang 3 times.
Phone call
Mom: Hello?
Me: Mom
Mom: Hi sweetheart what's up
Me: Can I talk to dad please
Mom: Of course one second
Dad: Hello?
Me: Dad.
Dad: Jade my darling how are you?
I started crying
Me: I'm not okay.
Dad: Oh please don't cry. Please don't.
I love you too much to hear or see you in pain
Me: Dad I'm never going to see you again.
Dad: Maybe you will. It's still a 50 50 chance.
Me: But dad
Dad: No buts about it. I don't want to witness you like this. When I die I wouldn't want you to cry forever. I understand crying for a day or two maybe even a week, but after that no more. Maybe once or twice a month when the memories kick in but please no more.
Me: I love you.
Dad: I love you too.
He hung up and I wiped my tears. "Well let's start watching something" I said forcing a smile. Zach grabbed me and pulled me close as rudan started the movie.
