Edward Cullen's POV
I was just getting to school started hanging out with my friends waiting for my best friend Bella to come sit with us she was also a vampire like us. We noticed this new boy he was sitting by some other people. I noticed him kinda staring at me once in a while. I could read everyone's mind but his I felt like I was to protect him. I then see this van come sliding in bad out of hell almost hitting him so I speed over and protect him by stopping the van. He looks at me with a shocked but relieved look. "You okay....." I paused waiting for a name. "J-Jacob B-Black" I shook his hand and smiled. He shook mine and smiled and he blushed a little then walked away to his truck and drove off. I couldn't sleep cause I was thinking about Jacob all night that night.
