Chapter 3 The hostile forest

"JP.... Are you sure this is the right way!?" Asked espy. "Of course! I am the best guy with maps!" He said smiling looking down at the map.

"Than can you explain why it's upside down?" I asked peeking over his shoulder. "It's not upside down!" He argued. "Whys the mountains upside down then?" I asked.

"They made the map wrong!" He retorted. "So if the map is wrong than we must be going the wrong way?" I asked smirking.

His eyes narrowed and his face turned red in anger. "JUST FOLLOW ME WATCH YOUR STEP AND STOP SMART MOUTHING ME!" He yelled.

Ash and Espy turned around as there sweat dropped. I started laughing at the fact he said "smart mouthing"

JP stormed to the front of the group. "Hey JP... Do you have any pokemon?" Asked espy slowing down to my paste.

"No... I am a pokemon artist, I explore and make friends with wild pokemon and I draw them." He said putting away his map in his pouch.

I heard bushes behind me rustle. I turned around but nothing was there. "Sam! Keep up with us! Your slowing us down!" Yelled Ash.

"S-sorry." I stuttered and joined the others. "EAVAH!" Yelled Eevee in hostility as she ran into the forest. "EEVEE!" I yelled chasing after her.

Ash's and espy's Pikachu zipped right infront of me with hostility in there gaze. I heard leaves and twigs snap behind me as the others caught up.

Ash flinched and shoved me. I hit the ground with a thud. I turned around and loud crack split the air as the two pikachu's attacked.

When the pikachu's finished they ran the direction eevee went. I froze as I watched them leave. "Wow..." I said in complete shock.

Suddenly Ivy crashed through the branches. "Omg! I saw everything! Are you alright." Said Ivy. "Yea thanks for the help..." I said signing.

"It was so cute how Ash saved your life!" Said JP snickering. I glared at him giving him the 'shut up or die' look.

Espy snickered and I glared at her. "Not you too!" I said. Ivy was glancing off in the distance where our Pokemon ran off. "Talking about Ash, he just booked it over there." Said Ivy starting to space out.

JP gasped. "That's right into locario territory!" He said. "Ok.... Is that bad?" Asked Espy. "YES! POKEMON AROUND HERE ARE HOSTILE!" He yelled.

Espy backed away a little. "Okay...." She said getting freaked out. "Hostile!? But mudkip isn't.... Never mind he disapeared." Said Ivy looking around.

All of a sudden a random lillipup popped out of the bushes and jumped on JP. "WAAGH!" He yelled.

"Lill, lii pup." It squeaked. "W-why isn't it hostile?" Asked espy. "I guess it doesn't effect them." Said JP.

"Hello! We're forgetting about Ash! Duh!" Said Ivy crossing her arms. "Oh my gosh your right!" Said JP put the lillipup down.

"We gotta hurry or ash will be cremated!" Said Ivy. we all stared at her. "What its true!" She said. We shrugged and ran the direction Ash and the other pokemon went.

We all froze and hid behind a bush as we saw Ash surrounded by plenty of lucario's, riolu's, and our pokemon.

"EEVEE!" I yelled not even thinking of the dangers. I got up and got ready to run but JP held me back.

"What do you think your doing!?" He asked but the pokemon already noticed us. "Nice going you two!" Said espy.

A lucario stared at us. He made a blue ball out of his paws and shot it towards us. Me and the girls started screaming while JP was just scared.

Lillipup jumped in front of it at the last moment and saved us. "Puuup...." He said on the ground hurt. "Lillipup!" Said JP and picked him up.

"LET'S GO! RIOLU!" Yelled espy as she released a riolu from a poke ball. "You never told me you got that!!!" I said. "Secrets are secrets, and this is my secret weapon!" She said.

"Woah! You said secrets four times!" Said Ivy amazed. "Three." Corrected JP. "Alright riolu! Double punch!" Said espy.

Riolu jumped in for the attack but it didn't effect Lucario. "W-woah!" I stuttered. "It's too powerful!" Exclaimed JP.

"Purrloin!" I yelled releasing purrloin. "Purrrrrr." She hissed. "Fury swipes!" I yelled. She unsheathed her claws and attackedd lucario.

It did somewhat damage but barely any. "Watch out!" Some one yelled. "It sounded as if it was from above. A girl with blonde hair flew down on a Talonflame.

"Gale Wings!" She yelled as Talonflame attacked the lucario and riolu. They scurried off leaving Eevee, the two pikachu's, and mudkip. The trainers reunited with there pokemon.

Eevee jumped on my head and batted my hair. "Hi eevee." I said laughing. "Wow thanks, who are you!?" Asked Ash staring at the girl with the Talonflame.

"You'll know one day..." She said and rode off. "Ok... Now that that's over with... Which way should we go!?" Asked Ivy.

JP pulled out his map. I quickly slapped it out of his hands. "Ow! That hurt!" He said reaching for his map again.

I pulled a map out of my bag and gave it to JP. "Use this one." I said. He took it and smiled. "Wow! This is awesome!" He said excitedly.

"It's just a map... What's so exciting about it?" Asked espy. "The exciting thing is... WE GET TO LEAVE THIS FOREST!" He cheered happily.

"Which means we have a chance to escape from you!" Retorted Ivy.
