It was my first day of my new school. I had just moved from America to where I am now Chiswick,England.
I was nervous as I entered through my new school doors for the first time. I had to enter through the door that said 'office' 10 minutes before the door for the rest of the pupils. I walked in a ginger smiley woman said "Hello. My name is Mrs. Jones. What's your name ?" I was shy so quietly I said "Kookee Finlay, I'm supposed to be joining S3" "hello Kookee I shall show you your classroom." I followed Mrs. Jones to my classroom. It was when I entered the classroom for the first time I realised that the desks were in pairs I hoped that my new teacher would pick who sat beside who.
School was about to start I was outside waiting for the day to start as I was told to wait outside until the bell rang. It was at that moment that the bell rang *bell rings* I entered the classroom to find a teacher with long brown curly hair and a huge smile on her face "Hello, my name is miss. Sugg , I would like to ask you to come stand at the front." I stood up at the front beside two other girls. Miss. Sugg asked us to introduce our self it was my turn "Hello. My name is Kookee and I just moved here from the United States." I saw two boys standing at the back of the class. Twins, all the past pupils spoke it got to the first twin in the row "Hey everyone i'm Finn, finn the better twin." It was then the next twin " what's up guys. How you doing i'm Jack,jack the better chap." I was looking into one of the twins eyes he was staring back. Miss. Sugg rudely interrupted "I have made a list of who will sit with who

I had to sit next to the boy who's eye I was staring into. I went over to the table I was sitting at , as I got over to my seat Finn pulled out my seat and let me sit on it I blushed and thanked him. He sat on the seat next to me to my left. First lesson we had Drama and we had to make a short romantic comedy with a partner miss. Sugg said that we had to be partners with the other person on the table. We practiced our drama over and over until it was time to show them the first group up was Jack Harries and Suzan Cole. Then it was Finn and I.
It was the end of our drama and Finn did something that we had not planed he bent down and kissed my cheek. I looked around the room awkwardly then at him he looked straight into my eyes and I stared back. The whole class at once just said "oohh La La." Finn and I went to take our seat. Finn stared at Jack and Jack stared back making face signs, Finn was smirking when he turned back around. The bell went after 3 lessons and it was lunch time.
I had a packed lunch. I didn't know where to sit in the lunch room. Finn saw me looking for a place to sit and came over to me and said "hey come sit with us!" I followed him to his table and sat down beside him opposite jack "well hello there he said. How are you enjoying your first day I can see you have met my brother." Asked Jack. "Hello. My first day of school has been really good so far and your brother is being really nice and showing me around." Finn and I looked at each other and giggled. Jack just smiled as if he was taking in his surroundings.
It was the end of the day. I was at my locker getting out my jacket. I closed my locker and I turned around and saw Finn standing there. "Hey. Well I just thought I would give you my number incase you had any questions about school or homework. Or maybe if you want to hang." Finn gave me his number and I have him mine. I smiled to him "i'll see you tomorrow" he said and gave me a goodbye hug.
I was at home studying listening to music then I got a text from Finn- 'hey. How r u. Just checking I got the right number.' I replied 'hey Finn. Ye u got the right No." Less than 30 seconds later Finn replied-'good I wouldn't want to send this 2 the wrong person. U were really nice at school today and I hope we can b friends.' I really liked finn and I replied to his text-'same u were really nice and kind to me at school today." A new day was almost upon us.
It was day 4 of Chiswick academy. I got into my classroom to find on my desk a note but there was no one around the note read -' hello newbie, I see u are spending a lot of time with Finn just remember u are on thin ice walking towards the centre.' I read the letter confused over and over trying to figure out what it meant. I shoved it into my school bag just in time as the door swung open it was just Barbra Simon we hadn't really spoken but to brake the ice I said hello to which she gave a slight smile like she didn't want to get into a conversation. Although there was a worried look all over her face. I sat down on my seat stood up to change the calendar as it had been annoying me. Jack entered the room he smiled at me I couldn't help but smile back to such a cute face. Right behind him entered Finn. I walked over to our desk. We started to engage in conversation as he was the only friend that I had made. I told him about the letter he asked to see it I put my hand in my book and put the letter in I then handed Finn the book looking at the first word he knew exactly who it was it just so happened to be Finn's ex-girlfriend Tanya who has one friend now. Finn was very conferring he told me not to worry about it and he told me their story about all that happened when they were together. It was at that exact moment that Finn had finished that the door opened and miss. Sugg entered the room and she said "good morning class. Please talk your seats. I have heard that the math textbooks haven't arrived yet so we can do board work, writing skills or close reading." The whole class voted for board work. There was a question that we had to work In pairs. Finn and I spent the whole time taking Finn asked me if I would like to go to the cinemas after school I said yes. So it was day 4 and I had a date!
I got home ran upstairs to get changed into something nicer than school uniform and to redo my make up. Finn waited at the bottom of the drive and I told my mum I was meeting some friends at the Cineex cinema I ran down the driveway. To find Finn there just as i expected. It was snowing and icy I kept slipping and I felt someone's hand fit into mine. It was Finns hand he supported me right down and up the hill and all the way to the cinema. He was kind. the next day was Saturday and we decided go go to the coffee shop to study. He ordered and he payed for both of our coffees and biscuits. We had a long conversation about essay ideas for English.
