I just really need to get something off my chest. So I've recently read this amazing fanfiction, it has whole lot of plot twists and is really cute, but one thing has been bothering me.
So, in the story, the main girl gets raped and is taken to the hospital. Her parents don't show up and aren't even notified and her and her boyfriend keep it a secret from her family.
Like what the actual fuck?
And right after she gets raped (like two weeks) she's back to her complete and normal self.
That makes no fucking sense!
If you are or have been raped, you don't just 'forget' about it in two weeks. It's a process that sometimes takes forever. Rape has happened to a couple of my friends and some of them aren't even over it and it's been a year.
All I am saying is that rape is more than just a plot twist and do your research!.
