This was a request that I took to long making for it to come out mediocre... I'm so sorry.

Work got so busy because of how warm it's been in my country so parents have been taking children out more and more.

The rows and rows of VHS tapes on shelves. My eyes scanned all the movie titles looking for something new, something exciting. The Bradley video store had tons of customers today. The sound of kids, teenagers and adults talking or bickering over movies filled the air. Huffing at the fact this place suddenly became so popular I looked up to see randy using one of the stores shelving carts to slide down the aisle making me laugh.

Randy seemed to have noticed me laughing at his antics and smiled at me, soon turning to the shelf he was restocking. Deciding I would have a quick chat with the movie fanatic that randy is for some  recommendations.

"Hey randy" I said as I placed a hand on the end of the shelf. Randy suddenly looked up from what he was doing and quickly stood straight. "Oh hey y/n.. fancy seeing you here" he spoke with nervous smile. Laughing at his awkwardness I started asking him about a horror movie he could recommend.

As we talked I noticed that Randy's suggestions were a little off especially when he told another customer the wrong movie name. Shaking my head smiling at his fake movie knowledge. My attention was directed to an angry Stu, his eyes twitching slightly as he tried to hide it.

Then his eyes lit up as a smirk washed over his face as he began to stalk over to randy.
My eyes widened as I shook my head "no". Stu winked at me as he got closer and knocked the VHS tapes out of Randy's hands to scare him.

In one sudden move Stu's arm wrapped around my waist, his large hand gripped my hip with quite some force. Stu pulled me around the other side of the shelf as he laughed at Randy's reaction.

Stu poked his tongue out as he laughed, many people thought this was to taunt. After knowing stu for so long I knew he didn't even realise he was doing it sometimes.

"that wasn't nice dude!" I said as I smacked him on the arm. Stu raised his eye brows at me as his eyes changed from playful to suddenly very serious. Making a shiver roll down my spine as I felt the need to look away from his glare.

"This place is packed today, man" as stu spoke he looked around as his hand slipped from my waist to rest on my back keeping me in place next to him. "We had a run in the mass murder section" randy replied picking up the thrown VHS tapes. "You coming to my fiesta?" Stu was now leaning over the shelf with his head placed on his hand.

As they talked I zoned out thinking about how a real serial killer was running around killing students from our school and teenagers were renting horror movies about what was happening right in front of them.

"Oh now that's in poor taste" Randy's voice changing brought me back to their conversation.

Looking at where randy's eyes were staring. I saw billy stood in the horror section with a bag of candy sharing it with two girls. I chewed on my lip wondering why I felt so uneasy with how chill he was given the situation he was in recently.

"Now if you were the only suspect in a senseless blood bath, would you be stood in the horror section?" Randy made a point. Stu pulled his hand off my back as he talked, "it was just a misunderstanding, he didn't do anything".

I looked at Stu's face from the side and could tell even from this angle he was speaking the truth. "You are such a little lap dog!" Randy raised his voice slightly catching me off guard. "Hey!, don't call him that." I spoke up. Randy looked at me and shuffled his eyes away slightly.

"He has killer printed all over his forehead!" As randy spoke stu moved closer to the other end of the shelf. "Oh really! So why did the cops let him go, huh smart guy?" Stu challenged randy.

Soon I  realised that this was escalating but I had no words. Randy's right Billy got arrested but Stu's also correct he has to be innocent if the cops let him go.

"Cus obviously they don't watch enough movies. This is standard horror movie stuff. It's a prom night revisited man!" Now Randy's logic just flew out the window for me. "This is real life randy. Not a movie made in Hollywood" as I said this I placed my hand on my hip with a huff.

"Yeah, like why would he want to kill his own girlfriend?" Stu said as he lifted his hand towards me obviously agreeing with me. "There is always sum stupid bullshit reason to kill your girlfriend" as randy said this I noticed the girl behind him lifted her head and got very uncomfortable with what she just heard and I was feeling the same way.

"That's the beauty of it all, it's simplicity. Besides it gets too complicated you lose your target audience" as randy spoke he kinda faltered at the end. "Well then randy was his horror movie reason?" As I said this I leaned on Stu's shoulder.

"Maybe she wouldn't have sex with him" as randy spoke it was a quiet mumble. Stu immediately taunted him "oh what, she saving herself for you". Stu leaned over the shelf and so did randy as he quietly asked "maybe, do you think she would go out with me".

As he said this my eyes widened at the idea of Sidney going out with randy. Holding back a laugh as stu did a loud enough one for the both of us. As he did the fake covering of his mouth and suddenly turned serious as we both said basically in unison, "no, I don't at all. Nuh uh, no".

"I think it is her father, why can't they find her pops man" stu tilted his head. Randy soon got in Stu's face "because he's probably already dead!" And soon enough randy was going on a horror movie rant about the real life horror we were going through.

As he did so people started to look over in worry and confusion on why this store worker was yelling. As he finished yelling after realising the whole store was staring he went to walk off as stu tried making a joke that randy had smoked too much.

As I followed randy with my eye billy suddenly grabbed him by the front of the shirt. 'oh no this escalated way too much' was all I could think of as billy interrogated randy in front of people. "How do we not know you're the killer?" As billy spoke stu grabbed randy from behind making sure he couldn't escape.

As I walked behind stu the conflict was over with, Billy giving randy a couple pats on the cheek and leaving whilst mumbling. "Stu let's just go, you need to get ready for your fiesta... Randy you can still come if you want" as I said this I used a strained smile.

Randy just nodded as I pulled stu by the hand....
