Just The Underdog

Chapter 2

We all walked back into the flat laughing at Louis. I can't believe we got kicked out of McDonalds. Actually, who knew they had security. I cant believe this is going to be my summer. Sure, I'm used to Louis' craziness but four other guys along with him? Some times I cant even handle my own cousin. 

We all walked into the living room and sat down on the couches. I sat between Niall and Louis, which I didn't mind at all. I have only known Niall for hours but I already know were going to have a strong relationship. 

"How about we go night swimming?" Louis suggested. We all agreed, because wouldnt think of anything else to do. "Oh, I'll show you your room Skye." I grabbed my bags and followed Louis upstairs and down the hall until we came to a room with a black door. He opened it and turned on the light. I saw that the room was light purple black and white additions. I smiled at this, "You didn't have to do this all for me. I'm only staying here for a summer."

"I wanted to make it pretty for you." He said and grinned. I rolled my eyes at him and set down my bag and looked around the room. The headboard was black, same with the pillows. There was a few white throw pillows and a white carpet. The blanket was white also. I saw some shelves on the left wall over top of a desk and a dresser on the right wall. 

"What do you think?" He asked. 

"Its great." I said, "Now leave while I change." He walked out, closing the door behind him. I set my suit case down on the bed and opened it up and searched through it looking for a bathing suit. I soon found a pink and black floral bikini and a light blue cover up. I put them both on and put my light brown hair into a braid and took off my makeup. 

I walked out of my room and down the stairs. I assumed the boys were all ready outside so I walked out and i was right. I came just in time to see Niall do a flip off the diving board. I walked over and took off my cover up as fast as I could so I could avoid any commented then jumped in the pool, ending up splashing Niall in the face. He wiped his eyes, "What was that for?" 

"Sorry." I giggled and he smirked at me. I stood there confused for  few seconds until I Niall splashed me. I gasped and splashed him back playfully. I tried to swim away but he caught hold of my waist and pulled my back, "Niall let me go." 

"Nope." He said and picked up and threw me back into the pool with a big splash. When I came back to the surface I saw Niall chuckling a bit. I thought of my own idea. I went under the water I searched for his ankles. When I found them I pulled him under the water. I chuckled as he came back up with a surprised look on his face, "Oh, you think this water war is over?" 

"Aw, are you sad I won?" I teased and once again tried to swim away but he grabbed my waist again but this time spun me and few times in the air as I let out a few giggles. When he finally set me down we both looked around and saw everyone smirking at us. They all looked away and went back to what they were doing before. 

I splashed Niall one last time before he laced his fingers in mine and whispered, "Truce." 

"Truce." I repeated and he let go of my hand then swam over to Liam. I swam over to Louis and he grinned at me, "I see you made a friend." 

"Oh shut up." I muttered. 

"I was kidding. I'm glad to see you and Niall are getting along." He said. 

"Yeah, I can already tell were going to be good friends." I told him looking over at the blonde boy. His hair was soaked and it looked really cute on the hair the way the sun light was hitting in. The sun was starting to set and the sky was a mix of different colours. 

"Well thats good to hear, why dont you go talk to him then?" 

I gave Louis a weird look and awkwardly walked over to Niall and Liam who were talking quietly. I stood beside Niall and they both smiled at me.
