Her Birth
"Yolaya!" Screamed Ricardo, as she screamed in pain. Her eyes were full of tears and fear as she cletched his hand.
"I didn't mean for this to happen.." He says, caressing her side.
She whimpers out in pain, massaging her stomach. "Wha..What about the ... Baby?" She sputters, while blood pours from the shot wound in her right shoulder.
"I will make sure our baby is born no matter what, babe." He says, kissing her cheek. Just
then, her water broke. She points down.
"Ricardo! My water broke! I'm going into labor!" He gets her pants off, and starts telling her to push.
He covers her mouth while she screams, knowing that the people who shot her were
not too far away, and still thirsty for blood.
He had angered some thugs in a drug trade that went wrong, so they shot Yolaya in the shoulder, picked up all the drugs, and ran off.
After a while of constant pain and fear, Yolaya gave birth to a baby girl. Tears trickled down her face as she held her baby, and the last word she said, before passing away, was "Bethany".
