Fabian jumps to the feel of fur brushing against his skin, his foot practically tossing the thing into the wall like a sling shot. That was it, the dying squeaks of the rat he was watching circle his room for the past two days, only water coming from snow on the window sill keeping him from not dehydrating as he hunts rhe rat for its meat. It makes one last attempt to break away, bitting his hand as he begins to strangle the sturggling beast in his arms.
This is It his room now, his lands to hunt and survive in. Two more attempts at breaking free of the chains and he actually just woke up with nothing holding him back, as though the phantom hands and their healing green crystals didnt want to keep doing the only job they seem to have. At first he hesitates; however, he doesnt even know when he'll see food again, causing the boy to dig his teeth right into rhe filthy pelt of the rat he killed and dine on the meat under, its taste actually tender and full of flavor to his starves taste buds.
This wouldve made Marindina sick, seeing him go so far to survice instead of toughing it out like the 'civilized person' she was. A woman of only thoughts, she considers herself a teacher of a sort, here to help the world rid its daek underbelly. As he tosses the emptied caurcus aside, he thinks of the woman who warned him not to go out that night, that Gornia wouldnt help him forget about the death of his parents earlier this year. She was, well still might be his councelor and only remaining friend.
Fabian's life was anything but normal after a terrible accident killed both his parents and a few bystanders to the smoking car that exploded after killing his parents, the driving going a speed that threw him out of the car and through the windshield of the other car before they both exploded and burned to ash. He wasn't there to see the accident's aftermath. Hell he didnt even go to their funeral, but Marindina did. She was their friend, and then Fabians after his three best friends were found butchered in thw woods one night. The night of Gornia: a festival week twice every december to celebrate the first snow and a tradition amongst the townspeople and the city dwellers alike. They invited him to go as well, Makayla, Kylie, and Ashton, all popular kids that took him under their wing after his parents died.
More tears escape his eyes at the thought of seeing their dissapointed faces when he closed the door in reply to Kylie's begining and Makayla calling him a loser for not wanting to go (playfully of course). What kind of monster would kidnap the boy who lost so much? Everyone knew he was involved as he was, the police even questioned him after his friends were found dead, but dropped it when they had no more reason to suspect foul play. So why kidnap him?
There is a breath of fresh air as the wall suddenly gives way before him, the vault door big enough to keep something dark behind it until the end of time. Through it steps a man in leather jeans, black material at his ankles to make it obvious the leather was just sewn over the softer material instead of against his skin, a black hoodie covering his bared chest, but not doing a good job as its snugness shows off his fully toned arms, the silver ziper undone to show off his perfectly toned, dark chest, his waist thin enough that his body doesnt really give too much intimidation as opposed to the wicked smile across his absolutely gorgeous face.
Fabian rubs his green right eye in disbelief, the eye not blinded by a large scar on his cheek made when hed been attacked for coming out, the blade just missing his forehead and below his eye, but slicing into it and the middle of his cheek.
"Well goodevening", greets the man in a deep voice Fabian might otherwise find extremely sexy. "And how are we enjoying our stay."
"Fuck you", replies Fabian weakly. His body doesnt lift to anything but a crawl as he points to the man bluntly. "Y-You fucking monster!"
The man smiles, half annoyed. "Now is that any way to speak to me love?" He walks up to Fabian, grabbing his arm and twisting it so he is stepping on Fabian's left elbow as he presses it forward painfully, the boy fighting weakly and beging him to stop. "It would appear reasoning will get me noweher then huh? Too bad, I had hoped you mighr join me for dinner..." He releases Fabian's arm only to send a foot into the boy's back and then kick him inhumanly into the wall by his chest.
Fabian gasps for air as he struggles to get back up. "Fucking...... pig...", he gets out between gasps.
"Then perhaps another two weeks down here?" Fabian shakes his head beging and submissively. "Good. Merina!" The girl doesn't face her master when she enters, her skin pale and clearely worn by old age by what isnt covered by a ripped black dress and a bullet hole through her heart and exit wound on the left side of her head like she had been shot in both places thoroughly. Her hair is white as the sno on the tall window, eyes just as blind as Fabian's blind eye, and her form drained of any life there had once been.
She folds her arms dissaprovingly at Fabian. "I will have my pupil clean him up and ready him for dinner, sir Arcevester", she growls with extra sassyness toward the end. Fabian does think of struggling as the woman grabs his chains and right arm, ripping the things off his wrists one by one as though they had been nothing before forcefully leading him by the arm past Arcevester and into a hallway dark enough to be a portal to nothingness.
