"Thanks" Heeseung clears his face.
"Who are you?" Your father asks again.
"Oh, love! This is a friend of our daughter, Heeseung"
Heeseung bends into reverence, making your eyes widen to see his hands shaking.
"Ah, they must be close friends. Because they were really close there." Your father says in a firm tone.
"Ah ... I'm sorry." Heeseung says trying to soften the problem in which he seemed to have placed himself.
"Dear, stop judging the boy-"
"Are you dating?" He asks and the whole kitchen gets in uncomfortable silence.
-No dad, we are not. - You were the first to speak.
That's when you heard your mother's slap noise on your father's arm.
"Stop saying things like that, look how they are both embarrassed. Of course they're not dating, they just got out of a fight."
"It hurts. And I'm just asking. Why were they so close and holding her face if they aren't?"
Your father says as your mother pushes him from the kitchen with a wink for you.
Looking at Heeseung, you see him breathing quickly.
-Heseeung, calm down, it's just my father.
"I was afraid of never leaving this house again."
You laugh at him and hand him a glass of water.
-Relax, he's not that bad. Want to leave? I accompany you.
"No! I'll accompany you to the door, Heeseung." Your father's voice appears leading the boy to swallow hard and start shaking again.
"O-Thanks Mr. Kim"
"Follow me then" your father awaits him and you feel sorry for the boy's state.
You take the glass of water from his hand and look at him trying to comfort him.
"Well, at least, it's not the whole way to your house, right?"
He nods.
"So ... I think I'm going y/n. I see you tomorrow?" He waves to you, still hesitating a little.
