Chapter 14 ~ The End

So this is the last chapter but don't worry I am making a sequel. So I had an amazing idea but it would throw off the whole story so I am making a sequel called Marionette x Reader A New Beginning.

I woke up the next morning and I was snuggled up to Mari and Thunder was laying at the foot of our bed. I smiled to myself when Mari shifted and said "Good Morning" in the sleepiest voice. I sat up and replied

"Good morning" I said getting out of bed, Mari looked at me and he had dark circles under his eyes and he sounded really stuffed up not tired. "Oh my gosh Marionette are you okay" I asked putting my hand to his head, no fever

"I-I'm not s-sure" Mari tried to sit up but failed. I removed the bed sheets and saw blood all over the bed. I screamed and jumped

"WHAT HAPPENED" I yelled in fear, Mari flinched and I calmed down a little

"I don't kn-know" Mari said starting to cry, I hugged him and got blood all over my pj's. I looked over Mari's body and there where three stab wounds in his stomach. My eyes widened

"How are you still alive" I said stunned because the wound wasn't fresh

"Did you do this" Mari asked, pulling away from me 

"No the wounds had to have been inflicted a while ago" I said, I touched one of the gashes and Mari whimpered "I'm sorry" I said Mari tried to sit up again but he fell back in pain. "Stay right here" I said Mari nodded

"okay" He whispered, I grabbed my phone and called an ambulance. 

"911 what's your emergency" A man said over the phone

"Yes my boyfriend was stabbed in the stomach" I said holding back cries

"Okay we are sending an ambulance please stay on the phone" He said "When was your boyfriend stabbed" The man asked

"I'm not sure I was sleeping" I said

"Okay, do you know who stabbed him" The man asked

"No agai- wait hold on" I said I walked over to my dresser and there was a note left on the top. 

Hey how are you (y/n) you may be wondering why your little boyfriend is dead. I visited last night and had a little fun with him. You two were so cute, but no one takes my ex because you are mine. Well I have to run your little dog is starting to bark at me

From Jacob

No, I thought to myself dropping the blood stained not

"Ma'am" The man over the phone said

"O-oh sorry it was my ex Jacob he left a note saying it was him" I said 

"Okay you need to go with the paramedics when they arrive and bring the note too" The man said

"Okay" I replied and we hung up, I ran back into my room and Mari was coughing up blood. I ran to his side and tilted Mari's head up.

"Hey the ambulance is coming just hang in there" I said crying. I showed Mari the note Jacob left me

"I'm not dead, I won't leave you (y/n) he can't kill me I'm already dead but he can disable me" Mari said

"Hello" I heard a voice say

"Yes we are in here" I said running out of the room, the paramedics had a stretcher. They ran up the stairs and got Mari and carried him out. I followed the paramedics out to the ambulance and got inside it with them. Mari looked at me and grabbed my hand. I squeezed his hand and he did the same very weakly.

"Do you know what happened to him" A lady said as we started to drive. I pulled the note out of my pocket and gave it to the woman

"Here" I said, the woman started reading when Mari started coughing up more blood. The woman put down the note to tend to Mari.
