"mom, dad I'm seventeen why do I have to go camping," I complained.

"your always on the stupid phone of yours, it will be a nice way to spend some family time, talking not texting," they said.

"ugh, when do we leave?"

"tonight, get packing!" my mom said sounded rather excited.

I don't even know what to bring to go camping. who does this anymore it's the 21st century, wake up mom and dad, I thought to myself. of course my parents wanted to go hardcore camping so that means I'll be stuck in the middle of nowhere in a stupid trailer with no wifi. I decided to just grab some shorts, tank tops, hoodies and jeans. I threw my makeup case in my bag along with a brush and some other hair supplies. I zipped up my bag and headed downstairs.

"oh perfect, she's already ready Joel" my mum called to my dad.

"great now we can get going" he said happily.

I sat in the back of my dads ford blaring green day through my headphones. I must admit I have a pretty weird music taste for a teenage girl. before I knew it we were there, in the middle of some stupid camp ground. this was officially going to be the worst two weeks of my life.

I was waiting in the truck for my dad to un hitch the trailer. when he finished, after what seemed like forever. I went inside the trailer and continued to play music through my headphones. I really don't see why parents have such a big issue with teenagers and cell phones, like how else do you want me to have a social life. "Teighlor" my mom entered the trailer yelling my name.

"yes mom?" I said, making sure I sounded annoyed for interrupting the song 'homecoming' by green day.

"get outside now, it's a beautiful day."

"do I have to?" I asked, "I'm gonna look dumb walking around by myself" I murmured just loud enough for her to hear.

"yes you do, I saw some kids your age, go find them and make a friend or two." I sighed and got off the couch.

I was walking around the tiny campground when I heard screaming that sounded like it was coming from a small child. as I walked the screams got louder and louder. I turned the corner only to find a little boy, who looked like he was about four or five. I approached the boy and saw that he had scraped his knee when he fell. since the boy was only little he didn't see, to care who was helping him. I had managed to get him to stop crying and I got him to point to where his trailer was. I knocked on the door and a boy who was probably eighteen opened it. I have to admit he was hot but, I wasn't gonna play easy with this one, after all, if you play with fire you end up burnt. "is this your brother?" I asked the boy.

"um yeah, may I ask why you have him?"

"well, I'm guessing you were supposed to be watching him and you became too busy doing something else, I heard him yelling and I knew it was the right thing to do to pick him up."

"uhh thanks, I guess"

"your welcome, I guess" I turned around to walk back to my lot when the boy called on me.

"hey princess, what's your name?"

"teighlor" I said and without another word I turned and walked off.
