Moving night

It's 10 pm on August 20, Sydney is FaceTime'ing her friends and ex before she leaves while her mother Dennah and aunt Sally packs the car with all her stuff. Sydney is super nervous on the inside, because she's moving away to college, yet she's excited because she's going to Spelman ! The top Hbcu and her first choice!!
"Hey baby you excited?" Asked Dennah
"I don't know I'm nervous." Sighed Sydney
Dennah sat on Sydney's bed and stroked her forehead
"Don't worry baby it's gonna be ok, I love you and I'm proud of you ! Look, your going to the school you dreamed about since you were a freshman! Just do me a favor and thrive and don't have too much fun!" Dennah proclaimed
"Haha, ok mom I love you and thanks for everything ." Sydney stated
Dennah kissed Sydney's forehead and went back to packing

Sydney took a hour and a half nap

Sydney's POV
Oh, that was a good nap, i'm deadass nervous yet excited I'm really going to Spelman yo. I think I'll call my ex one more time.. Oh Daquan is my ex we broke up mutually since we were going to different colleges it's only right even though we still loved each other.. Anyways is phone goes to voicemail, must be sleep
"Hey day day I'm gonna leave soon, I love you man, I'm sad we not together but you know how we rock and whatever anyways have a nice life man love you again... Sydney" ugh I hate leaving voice messages I sound dumb.
"Sydney LETS GOOOOO"

okay so Sydney is a black activist she is pro-black and she believes and follows Malcolm X's philosophy except she's w Christian but doesn't change nothing.. So Sydney her mom and aunt packs the finally things and heads out at 12 am to Atlanta, Georgia from Brooklyn, New York that's twelve hours , so they'll be in Georgia around 12 and 1 pm so when they get their they'll get a hotel room and then the 22nd they'll move in her new dorm.

Sydney's POV
Its only been 2 hours but I'm already hungry, good thing I bought McDonalds and snacks before coming in this car, I'm about to bust down this MCchicken and fries boy ! I miss my best friend I'm about to call her...
"Hello?" Muzzled Celene
"BESTFRIEND!!!" I exclaimed
"Damn Sydney why you so damn loud girl? What's up you left yet?" She asked
"Yeah we on the highway now I'm just bothering you for one last time until thanksgiving lol." I said
"Gonna miss your crazy butt." She sighed
" I'm gonna miss you too girl at least you graduating next year !" I said to calm her
"Yea but I wanted to graduate with you bestie! Why you gotta be a year older than me ?!" She cried
"Lol I love you Celene I'll talk to you in the morning babe" i said

happening .. Oh nah why Asia and Cynthia arguing again.. All this drama making me glad I'm out of Brooklyn because like 2 bros of mine got shot when they were at Coney Island. Thank god I'm not there...
