The dark surrounded me. It was calm and warm. The peace of sleep was broken by the most annoying sound ever. The blare of my alarm clock.
I reached out and tapped my night table until I found my clock. The night table was smooth and cool to the touch like my clock, until I smacked it to the floor. The room was silent once more and I returned to the dark.
"Ping," my laptop went. I growled and rolled (literally) to the computer.I turned it on and it sang to me like normal. When I was logged on to Tumbler there was a friend request. I clucked the little accept button and rolled back on my bed.
Little did I know, that was the end of my adilecence, than my phone rang on the other side of the room. Stupid noises.
