Surviving Misery

Chapter 1

   As I dropped my feet on the wet cement ground I shut my car door and ran to Marley and Adriana!

"Whats up!" I gave them a long tight hug, "I've missed you guys" " We missed you too!" they both

screamed. "So where's Emma?!" I wondered looking around. "We don't know she must not be here

yet" said Adriana. "Huh, that's weird" I sighed. As I had taken a quick glance at my right I saw

someone. A boy, I turned my full head to see more, but he took off. Something had felt strange when

he walked past. Almost like as if I have seen him or something. But he did look kinda hot! I'm with

Kavu though and he's all I need. "Who was that?" asked Marley. I snapped back to them, " Who was

who?" They both started laughing. "That boy you were looking at," they chuckled, " You okay Claire?"

"Huh? No yah i'm good, don worry about me." I said slowly. They both looked at me as if I were crazy.

I kept looking around for Emma but I just couldn't find her, so we just started walking around

together. We were all talking then all of a sudden I feel someone's warm and smooth hands wrap

around my waist! I quickly turned around and it was Kavu! "Babe! Don't you EVER scare me like that

again!" I gently slapped him on the cheek. "Sorry babe! I just couldn't resist!" he then leaned in,

holding me close and kissed me on the forehead. I started to smile and tilt my head down, he had

noticed and lifted my chin up had kissed me on the lips. "Give me youre hand." He smirked, We

started walking together. "Hey guys I'll meet up with you later okay? Let me know when Emma gets

here okay?" I asked, "Yah okay" yelled Marley. They started walking the opposite direction me and

Kavu were going. He put his right arm around my neck, "So how was youre weekend babe?"

"Good, but it probly would've been better if someone, like oh I don't know my boyfriend get ahold of

me!" I turned sideways from seeing him. "Don't get mad! I hate when you get mad! And I know I'm

sorry," he started pushing me towards the wall with his hands on my waist and kissed my cheek

again, "I was just busy with my family and trying to get a head start on looking at what colleges I

want to apply for!" "Okay you booger!" I smirked. "Oh so now I'm a booger now!?" He yelled tickling

me. "STOP!" I started laughing and trying to push his hands off. All of a sudden I got a call from

Adriana. I picked up my phone quickly.

 Adriana: "CLAIRE GET OVER HERE NOW! IT'S EMMA!"

 Me: "What?" I gasped, "Okay where are you guys?!"

 Adriana: OUT BY THE CREEK NEXT TO THE SCHOOL! HURRY!

    I had hung up. " I gotta go Kavu! I'll see you in class!" I yelled while running to the creek. I got there

in about 5 min!  "OH MY GOD!"
