It Twas the night ( before Christmas ) and you and ash had to find a place to sleep.
You found a good clearing and rolled out your sleeping bag. Ash did the same as you layed down and so did he.
Pikachu and evee curled up next to you and started sleeping. You giggled at their cuteness and ash just gave a 'are you serious' look that made you laugh more. " goodnight ash." You said sleepily.
" night yn. " he replied.
~ the next morning ~
You woke up and saw ash hugging you while he was sleeping. These were your thoughts.

Thought number one: meh I'll just go back to sleep
Number two: aww how cute
Thought number three: I'll just pretend to sleep so I don't have to be the one to 'wake up first'

You closed your eyes and pretended to sleep. A few minutes later you could tell ash woke up but he didn't move away, instead he hugged you tighter and closer. Then he fell back asleep.
' CRAP ' you thought.
So being the ninja you are you squirmed out of his grasp while not waking him up. It's not like you didn't like him
You were just hungry. You grabbed a sandwich out of your bag and took a big bite out of it and waited for ash to wake up.

Once ash, evee, and pikachu woke up you gave evee and pikachu some Pokemon food.
" why do they get food." Ash said giving you puppy eyes. " didn't you pack some." You ask.
" yes."
" then eat your own food."
" 😢😢but I don't like peanut butter sandwiches I want your sandwiches."
You just rolled your eyes and stuffed the rest of your sandwich in your mouth.

You and ash were packing up your things and started walking. In an hour or two you guys saw Gary coming your way on a car with his ' fangirls '.
" hey Gary." You greeted with a small wave. Ash just looked annoyed and a bit mad. " hey guys did you get any badges yet cause look how many I got." He said boastely. You really liked Gary but when he was around ash and his fangirls he got a little ' jerky '.
You counted his badges. " you got ten? I thought you could only get eight in this region." You observed.
Ash snickered. Gary looked away flustered. " well time to go bye it was nice see in ya." He said really fast and drove off.
You and ash rolled on the floor laughing. You kept walking and so did ash. " so that was eventful." You stated, trying to start a conversation.
" you could say that." Ash said laughing. " yeah." You said smiling. Ash looked down to the floor blushing.
