Third Person
*12:30 pm* Louis was dressed and ready to leave, planning out today's events in his head. He couldn't decide if he was going to go in today. His phone began buzzing in his pocket and his plans were interrupted.
*12:40 pm* Harry rushed around his apartment, his jeans half way up his legs, no shirt on to cover the top half of his body. Having gotten no sleep last night, he slept right through his alarm and was now ten minutes late to work, and that has never happened. He rushed to brush his teeth, his pants now up all the way, and was stepping into his shoes as he walked around trying to find a work shirt. Finally, he was ready after five minutes and was on the road, his boss calling the phone on his passenger seat. As he pulled into the parking lot of the record store, he searched for the boy from yesterday hoping to see him in one of the cars, his search left him empty handed.
"I'm so sorry I'm late sir, I-"
"Don't worry about it, are you alright? I was calling to make sure you were alive."
"I'm fine, I just didn't get any sleep last night. I can stay late tonight to make up for being late."
"Harry, I don't care about you being late, you could've called out."
"There would be no point in that." Harry nervously twisted his thumbs, feeling bad that the owner wouldn't let him stay late to make up for not being in on time.
"You look like shit Harry, why didn't you sleep?"
"I felt sick for a while, and I just kept turning all night. I'm fine though." He composed himself and made his way to the back to clock in.
*1:35 pm* Louis stepped out into the cool air, the sun so bright that his eyes needed to adjust. It was warm enough that he didn't need his jacket, but he kept it on to hide the contents under his shirt.
"This is your last run I promise." His grungy partner locked the door as they exited the secluded building.
"Yeah, you told me that the last three that I did. I don't want to keep doing this Charlie, I told you, I only did it because I needed a little money."
"I know mate, and I'm sorry. I know you don't want to keep doing this but you're the best, and we can't risk anything, so they pick you because they know you're successful."
"This is the last one I'm doing Charlie, I'm not losing my money, and I'm sure as hell not going to jail for people I'm not even in business with anymore."
He nodded his head, and Louis scoffed at him. "I'll see you later, he wants to meet at three."
Three in the morning, wonderful.
Louis completed the run around in the afternoon, and set an alarm for two in the morning, drifting off into the only sleep he would get for the next twenty hours.
*5:15 pm* Harry was pulling into the parking lot of his apartment building, having just finished work. Though he wouldn't admit it to himself, he had been wondering all day where the man from yesterday had been. Louis, he reminded himself. It was bothering him actually, and as he rearranged the misplaced records and sang to himself, he couldn't stop his mind.
Why was he so obsessed with the thought of this man? Did he think about Harry like this?
*9:40 pm* Louis tossed and turned in his bed, it was too early for him to wake up, he still needed sleep. Any other night sleeping would've been easy, but knowing what tonight had in store for him, it was impossible.
