It's been years since Emeris last saw her friends but now she had left that all behind. Zane met someone new and moved on, Lloyd became a great sensei, Kai got married and had kid, Nya and Jay eventually married, Cole continued the family business with a little more... style, Sensei Wu went to the immortal worlds and Lord Garmadon and Misako lived happily.
"But where does that leave the heroine?" You may ask.
I'm not really sure, in all honesty.
Maybe she decided to take off with a band of pirates and sail the seas.
Or maybe she became an engineer in spite of her fondness for Zane.
Or she could have ran off with someone new and living happily ever after?
Who knows. Her path is her own to decide.
But even then, someone has to cause a little trouble.
