"Wake up!" I jump at the sound of Allison's voice and land on the hard wooden floor. "Oh my, I'm so sorry. We're going to be late for class. You have Algebra II right with Mr. Blist? 'Cause I have him and Boy, is he sexy. He could just make a girl melt and if he just gave me a minute if his time, he'd be mine. I mean sure he's like 26 but Oh my f-"

"Shut Up Ally, please." I put a finger over her lips, and she does for like 3 minutes before proceeding again.

Algebra II was a blur. Yes Mr. Blist was undeniably gorgeous, but he was going awfully fast. Next class: 12th grade philosophy; Ms. Kellin. I was late of course, but my teacher excused it. I took a seat at a table. Looking around, I realized I was the only freshman in this class. Ugh!

"Okay class, my name is Ms. Kellin. Welcome to 12th grade Philosophy. We have some Juniors, Sophomores, and a freshman
I believe." I could hear the remarks and laughter burning my ears. "I will be partnering you up. Now let's see... Edna and Joey, Mack and Brandon, George and Jose... Rickey and Dante..."

Oh, well that's something. I could hear a chair dragging over towards me. The figure plumps down. He was staring inquisitively at me. I just stared forward.

"Rickey, isn't it?"

"Apparently it is since you're here." He chuckles.

"Wouldn't expect back sass from a freshy." He grins.

"Ok class you will look up a philosopher with your partner and make your own discovery on something that could be true and real. This will be done outside of this class, because we have other plans for this class. But today, I would like you to spend this period discussing and getting an idea on how you would like to present this. This is due February 1st. A presentation is expected with a 10 page essay, drawings, and a short film on this. Good luck."

"So what are you into?" Dante interrupted my thoughts.

"Huh?"

"What do you want to do for this?"

"Oh, I wouldn't know."

"You don't talk much?"

"Not really."

"You should change that."
