The Longest Month

He lay there, coughing up blood, he had been beaten and tortured for weeks on end, and now he felt like he was gonna die, just three weeks ago he had been kidnapped by some psychopath, and now he was gonna die, but he didn't want to die like this, he rolled over onto his stomach and crawled to the door, he opened it and saw his torturer was asleep, he couldn't believe it, he crawled out the house and collapsed onto the grass, he stood up and walked a couple steps onto the sidewalk and collapsed, he was spotted by a jogger and rushed to the hospital, when he woke up he was in a hospital bed, a tray of hot food lay next to him, as he looked around the room he saw people, he couldn't see clearly, so he rubbed his eyes and looked, in horror at who was at his bedside, it was a doctor, the jogger who found him, and the deranged psychopath who had kidnapped him, he tried to scream but no words came out, he heard the doctor say "well, he's coming back to us, so I'll leave you guys to him" and left, then the psychopath locked the door, as the jogger tried to get his attention "hi, my name is Alice" she said, "and my name is John" said the Psychopath. "Who are you?" Alice asked "my name is Chuck" he said, and just before he said "you need to get the security" John threw Alice against the wall, knocking her unconscious, "now now Chuck, it's not very nice to leave without telling, especially with how nice I've treated you." He said as he pulled out a knife. "Why?" Chuck asked. "Because, it's fun" John chuckled. Then Chuck grabbed his food and tray and threw it at John's face, it hit him making him go stumbling back, Chuck then kicked the knife out of John's hand and tackled him to the floor, the tussled for a while and John threw Chuck away, but Chuck landed next to the knife and grabbed it, he then cut John's knees, causing John to fall. John pushed himself up and sat on his feet, and just laughed, "Are you ready to die?" Chuck asked, "Go to Hell" John shouted. "Been there, done that, now it's your turn" and he shoved the knife down into John's throat and watched as he die. Then got up, unlocked the door, and security and Doctors rushed in.
