I stood there looking to the storm filled sky. I returned my gaze back to my mother's grave. "The sky is crying for you" I said. I knew it was just a coincidence but, I would like to believe its true. I left a bouquet of deep red roses for her. I walked out of the graveyard, and just let myself wander to the nowhere in particular. A sign caught my eye "The Hollow Souls" was written. I was curious so I walked into the small shop. I looked around, there were many beautiful ball jointed dolls, they just looked so life like. Ball Jointed Dolls a.k.a. BJDs, are very different from a Barbie doll. As I walked around I noticed there was a big box with a small window and lock on it in the corner of the room. Why would it be locked up like that? I walked closer and peered through the window, it was another BJD, but this one is different from the rest, it had short black hair, turquoise eyes and the clothing was just...interesting. It looked like a mad hatter, then I realized it was a life size doll. It was bigger than me! "Welcome to 'The Hollow Souls' is there anything in particular you are looking for?" I turned to the voice. It was an old lady, she had salt and pepper hair, and wore an old gown. "Um...I'm interested in this one" I pointed to the big box. She looked at me like I was crazy then she gave me an ominous smile. "You could have it for free, no charge at all. He's been causing me a lot of troubl-" she put a hand over her mouth. "What kind of trouble?" I asked. "Well, you see...the box takes a lot of room..." She replied. "Why is it for free?" I questioned. "This is your first time here right? The first one is on the house." She led me towards the door. " I will mail it to you" she said. As I took my first step out of the shop. I heard voices laughing behind me. Wait, I could've sworn it was only the lady in that shop. I spun around to see who was there. The lady was out of sight....but, all the dolls had their heads pointed in my direction. I was baffled, they weren't like that before. The wind started to pick up, and thunder had gotten louder. I hurried home to my apartment.

"I finally made it!" I said as I approached the building. I had to walk across town, so it was a work out. I opened my front door and walked inside and locked the door. Of course the light switch was on the other side of the dark room. *trip* "Aaah!" I yelped as I tripped over something big. What the-? I don't remember leaving anything there. I turned on the lights. There was a giant package in the middle of the room. "Did the landlord bring it in here so it won't be stolen?" I wondered. That has to be it...What a nice landlord! I grabbed the box cutter from the counter and started to open the package. I reached inside and pulled something up. It was a hand. "Aah!" I screamed and dropped it back in the box. Oh, wait a minute. I reached inside the box again and pulled. It was the BJD I was looking at earlier and a letter, do the postal services even work that fast? Did I even give my address to that lady!? Oh well. I put the doll in my room sitting in a chair. I looked out the window, the storm was still there, and the cold wind was harsh. It's days like this that make me want to curl up in a blanket and drink something hot. Hmm... I think I have some Hot chocolate in cabinet. I walked into my kitchen, and grabbed two big mugs. Who knows maybe Mr. Doll would like some too. I laughed at how childish i was being, but i still made two hot chocolates. As I was putting A LOT of marshmallows in both. I heard a couple of things drop. I walked into my room with the two hot chocolates in my hands and set them down on a table. I looked to Mr. Doll, he was in a different position and it sorta looked like he had a smirk on his face. "Did I leave you like that?" I mumbled and looked to the floor, my whole BJD collection was on the floor. What the heck? I put them back on the shelf, when I say collection I just mean 6 dolls. They were given to me by my mother. I brought Mr.Doll's chair closer to the table. I put his hot chocolate closer to him. "Your hot chocolate, Mr. Doll" I said. "Don't worry, Mr. Doll isn't your name, but I can't think of anything else. Maybe that letter you came with has your name." I recalled the letter, that was left on the counter. "I'll be back" I left to fetch the letter. I spotted it and began to read it

" Thank you for taking that doll away from me! That doll is different from the others. He is VERY mischievous, so beware. His name is Leo. I wish you good luck.

Sincerely,

The Hollow Souls"

I started to get goosebumps. She can't be serious. After all, it's just a doll right.....?

[A/N] Thank you for reading! The doll in the pic is real( but not life size). You can find it on the DollHearts website. I don't own it. I know there are a lot of typos, sorry about that but, there is a lot more where that came from! :3
