Chapter 8 - I Had Fun!

I sat down on my seat and introduced myself. "Hi I'm Hayley! I'm 20 and an executive assistant to a big company! How about you?" I introduced happily and reached my hand out.

"Uhh.. I'm Danny, 23 and executive producer of a channel" he said as he fixed and tightened up his purple dotted necktie. I grinned and shook his hands "Nice to meet you!".

The restaurant was very peaceful and they do have a nice food. I also like my date, he's a cheeky charming guy. We had a nice talk and we both had 2 glasses of red wine.

He seems to notice that I am tired. So he offered me a ride back to my penthouse. When we got to my penthouse, he gave me a small piece of paper. I read it and it's his number, he signalled his hand to say he wants me to call him. I also gave him my number and signalled him to call me.

I grinned and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He blushed and got in the elevator for a ride down in the lobby.

I slouched in the couch and I felt so tired. My head is aching and my body hurts. I tried to get up, but I couldn't. After a few more seconds, I fell into a deep slumber.

Next morning, I woke up with the sound of my alarm clock.. *Ringggggggggg* Time check, it was 5:00 in the morning. Today is my first day in work from my holiday leave.

I stood up from my bed and prepared my things.  i opened my closet and got my white blouse, my black pencil skirt and my black stilletos.

I took a bath, wore my clothes and accesories, prepared my things, and checked the time. It was 6:00 a.m; I grabbed my bag and went out of my penthouse.

As soon, as I was down in the lobby. I was greeted by Elena's smile. I went out and grabbed myself a cab. Thankfully, it was easy! I slid inside and told the driver the address and the cab went speeding away. I checked my cellphone and saw 5 missed calls. It was from an unknown number.

I decided to ignore it and focus. But I'm still confuse, who could it be?
