" Who are you ? " I sat completely up.

" Chill. My name is Leo. You may not remember me. " He scratched the back of his neck. Cutting Miracle pancakes up.

" Why's that ? "

" I'm the kid you beat up everyday. The one who rather go to school then sell on the corner. " He raised an eyebrow.

" Damn. You've changed a lot. " My mouth  dropped.

" Close Your mouth. I can say the same though. You look good. " He smiled. " Thank you. " I blushed.

" What you doing now, school boy. " I smirked.

" Well I needed to go to college so a regular job wasn't going to get me there anytime soon. So I began dealing and put my self though college. But you know how this life is, it's hard to get out. " He huffed.

" You can't out unless you die trying and from the looks you have a little one to look out for. " I stated. Smiling at Miracle.

" Right. I can either try getting to the top or lay low and get out of town. "

" Well I know your going to have a hard time getting to the top. " I whispered.

" Why is that ? "

" The ones at the top are some bitches. " I laughed.

" You've met them ? " He questioned, as the waiter brought out my food.

" I know one of them on a personal level and the other is just a straight mean ass no getting through to him. " I grabbed the knife cutting my pancakes.

" Who are they. "

" I can tell you, Who one of them are. " I say placing a pancake in my mouth.

" Who. "

" Me. " I smile.

" Wow. I thought you'd stop by now. " He laughed slightly.

" Maybe, but once you in this. Your in it for life dead or alive. I'll help only for your daughter, no one and I mean no one can know about this, and if any one finds out. I'll personally kill you and raise your daughter. " I mouthed so Miracle wouldn't hear me.

He nodded, as Miracle finished her food.

" Who's her mom ? " I said so only me and him could hear.

" I don't want to talk about it. " He shook his head.

" Why? " I asked.

" Drop it. " He said, clenching his jaw. Okay touchy subject I see. I just nodded finishing my food.

My phone started to ring, I looked to see Ace calling. Should I answer?

" Are you going to answer it. Ms. Amber ? " Miracle asked. I nodded.

" Excuse me. " I stood grabbing my phone.

" Hello."

" Where you at ? " He asked.

"Umm... At brunch." I say pacing back and fourth.

" Where at ? We need to talk. " He stated.

" NO!" I said way to quick. He's going to know I'm not telling him something.

" What you hiding? "

" Nothing... Um we'll talk later. " I hung up. Walking back inside.

" Hey, I have to go. It was nice meeting you little one and nice seeing you again Leo. " I smiled leaving my money on the table and grabbing my clutch.
