Just 4 Hours To Save The World !!!

Just 6 months back we were living freely like today, but suddenly a turn came to our lives that changed everything into a disaster............... Those 4 hours or rather that whole night, that I still remember was the most tensed and horrible night of my life as in those hours I was fighting for not only me but for the whole world! ........

30th June 1996

The whole country was captured by terrorists except some people who were hiding at a secret place. One of them was me; a 14 year old boy who struggled and saved his whole family by putting his own life in danger, named as John Duce.

2:30 AM

While we all were thinking of a way in which we could save ourselves, suddenly someone knocked the door. When a person saw through the key hole, the person who knocked shot on his eye and that he died. The terrorists entered the room and that place was no more left as a secret place. We thought all our efforts to save ourselves were now a waste. We all were captured in neither such a place that was a prison nor a place where we could live freely. The kids were captured separately from the elders. Time and again a person came and threatened us by saying that we would not stay for long. After some time that man talked to someone else and I heard he was talking to another terrorist and was telling him that the bomb was planted and in just four hours their work would be done. I thought it was a nuclear bomb. I recorded everything in my tape recorder. Thinking of something with my tensed mind, I saw some keys hanging at the belt of a guard. I called him and very carefully stole the keys and told him to bring some food for all of us. Soon after he left, I opened the door where we all were captured. We all decided to save the elders, but seeing the guards we ran towards the back gate, but three guards were standing there. All five of us smiled and the guards were confused. We all attacked them and easily went out. We had no idea what to do next. Then we thought of going to my house.

3:15 AM

Somehow we reached there and I immediately switched on my computer and typed the name of the person by which his companions were calling him, (something as Mr.Brodgater) on the internet. Then I saw that he was a scientist who was sent in the prison as he was making an illegal machine that would send rays to the sky and the whole planet would be covered by it. It was made by him as he wanted to hypnotise the whole world and also wanted the whole world to be under his control. From that day he was no more considered as a scientist. That moment a thought came to my mind that he must be taking revenge and completing his task. And I understood that he was not talking about a nuclear bomb but about the ray bomb. But still I was tensed as every minute was precious for me and I was left with just three hours or in simpler words, just one hundred and eighty minutes! I heard the whole recording again and suddenly I heard a location that Mr.Brodgater was telling to the other terrorist in the recording. The name of the place was City Complex Park that was closed two years back. Then I and my friends decided to go there and stop the machine.

3:45 AM

While we all were going, we saw a group of guards that were working for the scientist. I saw a small room where no one was there. I went in that room and played the scientist's voice on the mick saying "come to me early otherwise I would kill you", and listening to this all the guards went inside their Head Quarter. Because the way was clear now, we went easily down the street. While we were walking towards the park, someone shouted "stop, otherwise I will shoot you". We all turned back and saw two guards were standing there. They ran towards us, I immediately took a rope and told my friend Rodi to hold it from one edge and I held it from another edge. We both pulled it from both the sides keeping the rope under our knees. Both the soldiers felled down and we ran away. But one of the guards shot on Rodi's foot and he was badly injured, somehow we didn't stop and ran dragging him along. But the guard shot one more time and this time the bullet passed through his stomach and unfortunately we could not save him. I was now feeling very shocked and very angry too. I ran towards the guards in anger, preventing myself from the bullets. One of them shot my left arm but I still went towards them, kicked on both one's stomach, snatched ones gun and shot both of them. At that time I stood still because I did all this without my presence of mind. My friends took me away from there.

4:25 AM

Now, just four of us were left. As the park was too far, we wanted a taxi to reach there but we didn't found even one. After walking some distance we all stopped and started talking about Rodi. We were very sad about him. Then suddenly the police came for a round. We knew that they were also working for the scientist, but still we be fooled them as they were not knowing that we were very dangerous for them. We told them to leave us at Martins Park as it was near our destination. He went from the place where I killed both the guards. We were afraid that if he got to know that I did this. When he saw the 2 guards lying on the floor, he stepped down from his jeep. Feeling very frightened Zack (my friend) jumped on the driving seat and sped away the car passing from the inspector's leg. While he was driving, we saw a check post in the front and there was no other way as we were entering the place where the machine was placed. As our turn came Maria (my friend) took out red chilly from her bag threw it on the guard's face. We immediately jumped out of the jeep and hided our self's.

5:00 AM

This was a wired movement for us as the guards were passing from behind us and we stood still. After they went, we very quickly ran straight towards the park. We opened its main gate. As it was fully covered, nothing was visible from outside. As we opened the gate, seeing a lot of security we got scared. But still we moved in. I was thinking that I would easily get the machine but it wasn't so. Now we had to fight with the guards as it would had not worked if we would have used our silly tricks. So, we all decided that we would disperse in different directions and meet after sometime in the main centre. I knocked one guards back and when he looked back I punched on his face, took his gun for my safety and also wore his uniform and as my height almost matched with his height it was almost fit for me. Then someone saw me doing all this. I followed him to catch him so that he could not tell it to anyone. I jumped on him and choked his neck. As I got up, I saw a big gate exactly in front of me. I entered the gate. When I took of my helmet, someone stabbed a knife at my back. I immediately fell down and I was not able to move. Then a tall man came in front of me. I was shocked to see him. He was the same man who was shot at the starting of the story, who lost his eye. He told me that he just acted to be dead but the bullet was not real. I was looking very angrily at him and suddenly, I heard my friend's voice. But, I was surprised to see only two of them. I asked them that where Zack was. Suddenly someone kicked on my stomach and he was Zack. Now I understood everything. Zack and that man were both keeping an eye on us so that they could get to know about our plans. Now we were imprisoned. I was not able to get up as I was *badly injured. The tall man activated the ray bomb for the countdown for 15 minutes. Now it was not about me or not about only my family, but now it was about the whole world. I somehow got up angrily, punched the guards and ran towards the machine. My friends helped me in opening the bars and we know how. I and my friends fought with the guards but suddenly Mr Brodgater came. He held my neck and pushed it towards the ground. My friends helped me to defeat him. When I went towards the machine, Zack attacked me from the back. I didn't have any choice rather shooting him. I shot him and the tall man too. I went towards the machine immediately pressed the danger button and in last 7 seconds the machine stopped.

I sat on my knees and at that movement I was happy in fact very happy that I saved the world.

That night killed four people and experienced many bad things, but from that day I realised that there are some people like me and my friends living in our nation to protect our planet

The very next day everyone left living was freed but we still didn't tell it to anyone that we did all this. But we were felling very proud of what we did. And now when I looked to the sky, I find nothing rather something blue.
