As I walk down the isle , of course , all eyes are on me. I watch on the corner of my eyes as book bags move to the other side of the seat. Why am I treated like this , I'm just like the others , so I think. As i swiftly move towards the back , I hear " Hey , Bitch ? can you move faster , so we can go ?" says one of the jock boys. I turn to meet his greetings. I don't have enough guts to say anything back so I turn and continue to walk. I see a girl , sitting by her lonesome, she didn't move her book bag , nor did she look at me , she gazed out the window , with out a care. I sat beside her. " hey check it out .. the weirdos sitting together how cute" says a boy named Daniel. He never was mean to me , until high school. I guess high school really do change people. "hey , you guys should make out with each other , shes a lesbian you know ? Anayis ? right ? yea you should make out with her , cause you'll never get any close to dick , and she wont complain about your dirty ass anyway, she loves dirty girls don't you , Jaylen ?" Says the boy next to Daniel. " Hey can you guys lay off of her , she's not bothering you." I finally spoke up , not for myself , but for a soul , like mine that couldn't speak out. " Oh shit , she talks ! " said the same boy next to Daniel. " Yea , I do , i'm just like you , you know ," I said. " HAHAHA ! bitch you are nothing like me , I'm not dirty , I'm not ugly , so how the hell are you like me ?" said the boy next to Daniel. " hey dude , she just insulted you ! you better get her ! " said Daniel. " I did'nt insult anyone , I was just trying to see why you guys are insulting me , when I haven't did anything but breathe " I replied. " Hey , maybe that's the damn problem " said Shirley turning to my attention drinking a hot chocolate. I turned my gaze to the window , corner eyeing the girl next to me , to see if she was going to stick up for me , frankley not. " yea bitch , dont talk back to me " shirley said. and all was quite.
" Hey you didn't have to do that , you know " said the girl next to me. " I deal with their bullshit enough , that what they're saying doesn't mean a thing anymore". " I was only trying to help , a thank you would of been much better " I replied. " well , thanks , but not thanks , you'll only make matters worse '' she said with attitude, and turned to look out the window. " names Anayis , Nya for short , you ? " " listen , I'm not here to make friends , or meet anyone new , i'd rather stay to myself , and that's it ." she said . " You know you don't have to be so rude ! I'm actually cool , if you get to know me. But your just a stubborn bitch to actually care to know me" i said angrily. " Bitch ? oh really " she turned to my side , " I been in this predicament longer than you have , for you to just speak up for me ? is not up to the amount of times i needed someone to speak up for me before, you put your 2 cents in this shit , now take your 2 damn cents out ! i never need you to open your mouth about anything that had to do with me, ... let alone sit next to me." she said. I swiftly got up and turned to her attention , " your welcome " I said as I walked to the back of the bus.
The bus ride was longer than usual , that's due to the car accident back there. As we pulled up to school , my heart dropped to my stomach. We have finally reached , the devils layer.
As i got up , I couldn't help but notice , the kids that were bullying me , were still sitting down . Maybe their waiting for me , i thought trying to walk fast , but couldn't move because of the person in front. " Ewe , what stinks ?" said a girl in the seat next to where i was standing. " oh , its just the normal you " she said meanly. I turned to see if they were just waiting for the people in front of them to get off , but they still had'nt moved. Here comes trouble. As i got near their "territory" my stomach flipped , as if something bad was going to happen. when I reached their spot , shirley got up quickly, as I felt hot steaming liquid fill my shirt. " oh , I'm sorry , um did i do that ?" Shirley said chuckling. " oh shit , now she at least should be clean , you know she ant got no water at home so , you did her a favor bae " said Daniel. Bae ? since when , not that I care , but back in the day ? you had to be blind to date Daniel. " aw, is it burning you ?" said they boy next to Daniel. I Shrieked and started to shake at the burning liquid. My eyes teared up as the liquid started to sting my skin. " lets go , skeeter " said Daniel , to the boy who asked the dumbest question. " I'm coming , I'm coming " said skeeter to Daniel . As the large group gets off the bus , Skeeter hands me a napkin , " Here , you might need this " he said . " Thanks but no thanks , asshole ," with that one sentence , I felt like the girl who made me feel like shit , so I just took the napkin. "I'm sorry" he replied. " What ever" doubting , what he said , he meant . He walked off the bus. I grabbed my book bag and walked towards the bus doors. " Hey , Come here for a sec " said the bus driver , I turned , and she held out a shirt , about my size , just a Little bigger. " Put this on, sit I'll cover you " . I took the shirt and sat , in my mind im asking , why havent you helped , when they were bullying me ? but i put that aside , and put on the shirt. " thanks" I said. she took the chocolate stained shirt , " i'll wash this , and return it to you tomarrow darling" she said. " Thanks very much " I said gratefully. " Hey , also a little tip , the wind catches the words they say , but don't let the wind take you along with it ." And I began my day.
