Warning lots of foul language in this chapter!! Sorry but it fits the mood!
Sam looked at the car's floor, he seemed to be confused, hurt, and curious the whole time. "So, I never noticed." He whispered, and I touched his arm. "Yeah, but it wasn't your fault. I'm pretty sneaky." I rubbed my head in embarrassment. It's not everyday your brother finds out your in the military and your in it because you were almost raped.
Sounds weird even in my head. Well looks like Will was right, I am seriously fucked up. I mentally laughed at that. Will always said I was sducidal because of the shit I did on missions. "But I still don't get why you didn't tell us."
I sighed and pulled my hand away from Sam. I crossed my arms and stared out the window, and looked out to city that I fight for on a weekly basis. "Because I knew you would never let me do it, you, Mom, and especially Dad." How the hell am I supposed to tell them about this... I could feel Sam's piercing gaze against my back, a few moments of silence passed.
"Yeah, your right, we wouldn't have. But you would've done it anyways, wouldn't you Mackenzie?" I didn't respond, I knew he got the answer. "I figured. You never did listen to shit Mom and Dad said, and you never cared about what I wanted."
"Yeah you weren't the best friend in the work either." I could feel piercing pain from what Sam and Makayla had said, but I knew he was right.
If Mom told me not to go to a party, I'd go anyways. If Dad told me to be careful while walking home, I'd end up in jail for the night anyways. If Sam asked if to sleep in my bed when we were little, I tell him to leave me alone. When Makayla got mad at me, I threw insults at her she didn't deserve. I was a terrible sister, daughter, and best friend.
But I wasn't a terrible soldier.
"Your right Sam. I never did listen, because I didn't want to. At least I have enough balls to sneak out and fight for our country." I looked at Sam, a surprised expression was written on his face.
The whole car went silent, the only sound was the wheels rolling against the concrete floors.
Yes. I can be a bitch Sam, even to you.
