━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ೀ⋆。˚!! ENDEAVOUR.ᐟ CHAPTER SIXTY ONE. DECISIONS AND MEETINGS
Before Yasuhiro had noticed the auditions had already ended. Rook had a smile paste on his face, after all he loved watching and observing, Vil on the other side didn't seem all that happy. Almost as if all the people that had audition only made him waste time.
"Hmph. Theirs was a grade school recital—clearly the work of amateurs with the thinnest veneer of competence. They're out." murmured Vil totally disapointed, Yasuhiro wanted to share his thoughts, but honestly he wasnt paying attention on the first years
"...Interesting, interesting." whispered the vice housewarden was he looked at his noted before passing it to Yasuhiro and look at them "Attention, entrants: the audition is now over. We will notify the group that passes tomorrow. You will receive either some news, or no news!"
"So we find out tomorrow? Now I'm gettin' all antsy." spoke grim, it was clear that he was more nervous that normal
Deuce, who was by his side shoke his head "I was a whole key off during the melody" Ace sopke right after agreeing with his dormmate "Singing and dancing sure burns a lot of energy. Let's get back to the dorm and eat!"
And with that they left the audition room, leaving Rook, Vil and Yasuhiro to talk about the people who had show up "The turnout was half casual spuds on a lark, and half amateurs with at least some proper mindset. Losing is NOT an option at this year's Song & Dance Championship. Let us start by sorting these scores in descending order..." Spoke Vil before looking at Yasuhiro asking for the notes
"I didnt take much." Apologised Yasuhiro to which Vil only answered with a small smile. "A moment, if you would, Roi du Poison. Gems already polished shine with a predictable luster. Yet with sufficient effort put into polishing, it is possible for rough-hewn ores to be reborn as shining gems. Brighter than the ones you hold now, I daresay."
Rook's words hang on the room and for a moment Yauhiro could fell Vil's body shifting.
"You speak soundly, Rook. It will take more than conventional thinking to lay claim to the fairest beauty of all. What matters most for our needs is the ability to ascertain what KIND of gems our labors will produce for us."
"Heh... I sensed the most unpolished potential from the last group of performers. Monsieur Musicien's freshmen." Spoke the vice housewarden with full confidence making Vil's eyes wide
"Really? Those little spudlings?" Asked Vil completely confused by Rook's pick
"With all honestly, they arent all that bad, sure not perfect as Vil. But could anyone every be that perfect?" Asked Yasuhiro, saking his head as soon the words left. "What i'm trying to sat is that, maybe they could really improve into somenting great."
