India~

Once I finished eating. I got up to throw my plate away. The trash can was right by the front door. I stood there and decided against trying to leave.

I turned around and there stood Jacob. A very angry Jacob. He held a knife in his hands that were shaking uncontrollably.

"What are you doing?" I asked trying to move over .

"WHAT ARE DOING!? I TOLD YOU! YOU CAN'T LEAVE!!."

I grabbed his hand and slowly removed the knife.

"I was throwing away m-my umm, plate."

His expression softened and then he grinned.

"Sorry Mami."

I rolled my eyes. "Yea whatever."

"Don't be mad at me pookie!! I'm sowwy." He came from behind me and nuzzled his face into my neck.

I pushed him away and sat on the couch.

He sighed. "Wanna watch a movie?"

I shook my head and played with my fingers. "I'm actually pretty tired."

"Oh alright, let's go to bed."

He held out his hand for me to grab but I didn't.

"Imma just sleep on the couch."

He frowned and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Are you sure? This thunder might knock the power out."

"I'm a big girl." I said smiling and stretching out on the couch.

"Don't run in my room when you get scared."

He walked away with an attitude and slammed his room door.

Crazy ass nigga.

Jacob~

3:30 am

I heard footsteps in the living room so I got up to check on India.

She was by the window looking at the heavy rain.

It was thundering hard and she jumped. I saw her wipe her eyes, then she sniffed.

"What's wrong mi amour? You miss me?"

She jumped and turned around. I saw tears streaming down her cheeks.

I hugged her. "It's okay baby girl, you wanna sleep with me now?"

She shrugged and I took that as a yes.
I picked her up bridal style and carried her into my room, gently laying her on the bed.

I climbed in next to her and I was about to wrap my arms around her waist, but figured she wanted to be left alone. I turned on my side and fell asleep.

India ~

I couldn't sleep. I just laid there trying to tune out the thunder.

But I couldn't, I just kept tossing and turning. I turned on my side and saw Jacob was asleep. He looked so calm, almost human. I moved closer to him and wrapped my arms around him, resting my head on his chest. I fell fast asleep.

~Morning~

"India wake up." Jacob kept tryna wake me up.

"No 5 more minutes please." I hugged him tighter not wanting to get up.

I heard him sigh . "Okay fine 5 more minutes."

He just laid there with me while I slept in. This wasn't so bad after all.
