"5:30!" My mom yelled in the doorway as I jumped up out of bed and a rush of excitement barged through my body. Yes! I can enjoy my evening without a terrible headache.
I hopped in the shower and did all my essentials that aren't that important to cover. Once I was done, I headed out and got dressed.
6:00
She wont care if I'm early would she?
I ran downstairs and got my shoes on. Red converse with a black skirt and a white crop-top. They said they were going to dinner. My hair was still wet but I didn't care. It dries decently straight.
I finally got to their house with my iPhone GPS with the address Rydel texted me. I walked up to the front door and nocked. An older lady answered the door. Her and Rydel had the same color hair.
"You must be Tina," she grinned. "Come on in."
I walked in the house as Ross and his girl was cuddled on the couch with Ryland and Riker.
"Rydel's in her room," she motioned me upstairs.
"Oh hey!" Rocky said as I stopped in the middle of the hall. I looked back to find her mom but she was no where found.
"Rydel invited me," I said looking at my feet, playing with my hands.
"Yeah, I know. She told me," he smiled. There was an awkward silene.
"Do you know where she is?" I spoke up to ask.
"Through that door," he said pointing to a closed door. I walked over to the door as I nocked. I entered when I heard her yell 'come in'. I saw Ellington with her. Ouch! That's more awkward.
"I'll be downstairs," I said closing the door.
"That's how it's like around this house," Rocky said coming up behind me as I jumped back as I began panting. "Sorry," he laughed.
"I guess I'm hanging with you for the night," I laughed sarcastically.
"Why is that so bad?" he caught my sarcasm.
"It's not... I was jut... Never mind," I laughed realizing that Rocky isn't that bad after all. I'm actually happy that we'll be hanging out tonight because haven't had a boyfriend in over 2 years and my ex keeps coming around and scaring the hell out of me. But I'm not going to tell Rocky that yet.
"Wanna go outside and chat before we leave?" I smiled and nodded. We headed out to their deck as they had a pool and outside furniture couches. WHICH ARE MY FAVORITE!!! I jumped on the couch and got comfortable. Then realized I was wearing a skirt.
"Sorry, I don't normally wear cloths like this. But thank for spandex's right?" I laughed covering it up. He just laughed and shook his head as he found a seat next to me.
"You're cute," he spoke. I blushed as I pulled pieces of hair behind my ears.
"You guys' ready to go?" their mom said opening the back door. I nodded as I got up. Rocky did the same. "Oh, my name is Stormie but you can call me Momma Lynch!" she exclaimed. I giggled as I went into the living room as everyone was their waiting.
"Ready to go?" their dad asked. Everyone got up and went into their white van with three back seats. Me and Rocky went into the very back-back as Ryland came back with you as Savannah sat on his lap. Once everyone found a spot, we headed off. We went to the Water Grill in LA. Thanks to them because I love seafood but the prices were insane and it looked too fancy. But to be honest, everyone that went was wearing jeans. We found our spots as I sat by Rocky. I gave him a small grin before sitting down. We ordered our drinks as they began chatting. I then felt Rocky's hand inch my way. Mine and his hands were under the table as mine was resting on my lap. He gripped as we locked fingers. I looked down, not being able to see our hands because of the table cloth, and smiled. I looked up over at Rocky as he had a grin as he looked back at me.
Man, he's gorgeous!
I began to feel my stomach grumble. I guess everyone else heard it too. OOPS! "Did you not eat anything at all today?" I shook my head.
"I was late this morning and then I came home from dance and took that nap you said I needed."
"A nap?" Momma Lynch asked.
"yeah I wasn't feeling well today."
"But you're fine now?" Rocky asked tightening his grip. I looked up at him, grinning, and nodding.
"We can order appetizers," Mark said. I nodded and looked down. "There's nothing to be ashamed of sweetie," he said. My heart dropped when their dad said the word sweetie. I never had a dad to tell me beautiful, amazing, caring. He walked out on my mom when I was 4. I don't remember him at all. Nor what he sounds like or looks like. My mother doesn't want anything to do with him.
"So, when do you find out the auditions and who made it?" Rocky spoke up. I looked at Rydel. Just because...
"We find out Friday," Rydel said.
"Friday?" Rocky's expression dropped. I tightened my grip as his look faded. Our date was Friday too but he was taking me to dinner.
