Since Pink didn't believe me, I headed down to the kitchen to ask Warrior what he thinked. I was cautious to take the stairs this time.
Warrior worked as a chef in the hotel restaurant. I walked into the lobby and turned past my desk into the door labeled "MC Hotel Restaurant". I pushed open the door to have my nose filled with different smells of steak to cake. I pushed open the door to the back kitchen to see Warrior cooked a fish in a skillet.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Warrior asked, seasoning his fish.
"I need to ask you something." I said taking a bite out of an apple. "When I went into the elevator today, the lights weren't on, and---"
"Just a power outage, ask the mantinece guy to fix it." He interrupted.
"No you didn't let me finish." I told him. "Then when I was on my way up, the elevator stopped and a deep voice started talking to me. He wanted something, but I'm not sure what. He eventually let me out, but said that it wasn't over."
"Haha! You crack me up!" Warrior laughed. "You have the funniest stories Kat."
I slapped my forehead, he didn't get it either! "Ugh, it wasn't..." I paused. It wasn't worth it. "Yeah, it was pretty funny..haha.....I guess..." I fake laughed.
I turned around and walked out into the main lobby again. I only had one person left to tell..TMG. She had to believe me! I walked outside to the back of the hotel to the pool. TMG worked out there, giving people towels and pool toys and selling people smoothies.
"Hey TMG, can I tell you something?" I questioned.
"Yeah, of course Katniss." She said.
I told my story and she stared at me for a minute. Did she believe me?
"BWAHAHA!!!!" She bursted out with giggling! ....Nope, she didn't believe it.
She must've thought it was REALLY funny, because she fell on the ground and rolled around. I stared at her. She got up and was still laughing. "I need to pull myslef together." TMG said wiping a tear from her eye.
All of a sudden, when I finally thought she was gonna stop laughing, she started up again! She was really out of control with her laughter and ended up throwing a pool noodle at me!
I stumbled backward into the pool with a big splash! "Hey, what was THAT for?!" I asked when I made it to the surface.
"Sorry!!" She said, her face turning purple. I was soaked and really annoyed that no one would believe me about the elevator, so I just decided to leave and go back to my job.
