True Love

New Beginning

I was a nerd. I had all strait A's, i dressed dorky, and i had glasses. My best friend was allitle different from me, but i didnt care. She dressed like a punk, her black hair showed random blue and purple stripes in it. She had a curvy body, but she was skinny. She was much prettier than me, and i was way out of her leauge. She had these really cool glasses that were round, and framed her face perfectly. It was us against the world.

Jade and I walked down the hall, our arms linked. We made jokes, and laughed as we walked to the courtyard together. When we entered the back half of the school, i met the eyes of Luke Travis, the most popular guy in highschool. He staired into my eyes, not letting my eyes brake away from his. I got this feeling. Before, i didnt belief in love at first sight, or love all in all, but that was before i knew what it felt like. I felt tingly, and had butterflys, and felt like i mattered. He stood up, and walked over towards me and Jade. With our eyes still locked, he finally reached me.

Luke: "Hey"

I could tell that he was nervous.

Me: "Hi."

I was definatly nervouse.

Luke: "So, I could tell from across the room that we might like eachother, but now that im here, im possitive. Would you like to be my girlfriend?"

I cant belief he stole that from The Duff. And yes, i do watch movies.

Jade: "Yes she would!"

I looked at her and smiled.

Me: "Sure, why not?"

He smiled, and grabbed my hand. He pulled me over to the table he was sitting at. He anounced me as hhis girlfriend, and there was a roar of cheers, whoops, and hollers. He pecked me on the cheek, and i smiled. Later that day, after Luke dropped me off at my house, i layed in bed and thought about what had happened today. I was dating Luke, the most popular guy at school. Why was he dating a loser like me? I didnt care, i was overwhelmed with joy! When i told my mom she was scraming. Literally screaming. She was so happy, but when i told her who it was, she staired into my eyes with a blank expression. She smiled the biggest smile ever! She pulled me into a hug, and said she was proud of me. Later that night, i ended up watching movies with my mom all night long, we made popcorn, bought candy, and watched comedys. I took a shower and braided my hair in lttle braids while it was still wet, so in the morning my hair would be crimped.

When i woke up i ate breakfast, and brushed my teeth. I got dressed in a big superman hoodie, and skinny jeans. I put on the maskara my mom gave me last night, then unbraided my long, now wavy, blond hair, and finger-brushed it. My hair looked pretty awesome, if i do say so myself. After i was done getting ready, i drove to school in my black Convertable. After about 10 minutes of driving, i finally pulled into the towering building. I happily hopped out of the car, and Luke greeted me with a smile, and a warm hug and kiss. He handed me a large cup of coffee. I smelled the top of the cup. Wow. Caramel. I love caramel! I couldnt belief that i had the most popular guy in school as a boyfriend. He was so kind, and funny, and sweet. Jade was right, i did need a boyfriend. Wow. I would of never thought i was going to ever going to hear myself say that. And how did he know that caramel was my favorite? Aww i dont really care. My head was full of thoughts, and wonders. I was just worried that he was going to leave me because i wasnt ready, nor will i be until marriage, to do it with him. I hope that isnt the case. I had all honor classes, but Luke was the smartest kid in school. I was the second, and Will was the third. Will and Luke are emimies, and they have been sense 4th grade. They were best friends in 3rd grade, but they got in a fight, or something. How will Luke react when he finds out Will is my brother???
