Your words, they pierce
They cut like knives
They hurt my beating heart inside
They are like darkness and light
They build me up and they break me down
Your words they hurt, they cut like knives
They fool me once
They fool me twice
They fool me all the time
Your words they hurt, they cut like knives
They spoil the unique spirit inside
They lie,they hate,they break my faith
Your words they hurt, they cut like knives
They poison the beautiful me inside.
