Chapter 3 : Christmas Party !

Okay Sheryl , let me introduce you to some of my friends here , said my chilhood buddy david daxton , he was more like a brother to me than a friend that was mainly because we grew up togheter and played together with our little group of friends until i went to boarding school , that was wen i lost contact with all them. And now at this christmas party , i felt like a complete stranger. But thankfully i was in touvh with david via social network so it wasnt so awkward at the party , it was David who convinced me to come to the party , i was happy with staying home in my Christmas pjs with a series of Pretty little liars to watch all night .

Sheryl this is my gang ! Said david , i said a timid hi to all of them and they replied back in unison , i kept a small smile on my lips , to hide the awkwardness , on the right end is peter , next to him his girlfriend natalie , next to her kate , then jeremy, jackson , and my best buddy Noah! The last name caught my attention and i turned towards noah and froze in the moment , i had completely zoned out , EARTH TO SHERYL ! david waved his hand in fromt of my face , thats when I realised that i was just gawking at noah , i gave a little smile to david and turned my eyes to my feet . Oh god! I am so stupid ! I thought to myself .

So you are the famous sheryl , said Noah , he had this perfect pair of  brown eyes and the cutest dimples when he smiled , the dimples made my stomache churn a little , he wasnt that tall , but taller than me and his brunetter hair was all over the place , he had the perfect tan , as if he had come from a California beach, his perfectly built chest and the chiseled jaw , made me stare at him even more , i had to literally scold myself , from staring at him every now and then , i noticed that he had extended his hand , so i took it it and shaked hands with him , and said yes, i am , and give him my perfectly flossed teeth smile . So sheryl , would you like to dance , he offered , i nodded my head in agreement and went on the dance floor with me , the dj played david guetta's toyfriend , and i swayed my hips to the beat, i never said no for a dance because i loved to dance , infact i would look for opportunities to just move ans shake whenever i could. Noah gave a little laugh when he saw get into the music and do my favourite move , he joined me and we dance like , this was the last dance of out lives .

After , what seemed to be 1 hour of dancing , my feet started to hurt andy throat felt dry , so i excused myself , and told noah that i wanted to catch a breath , to which he replied saying that he would come along with me , i told him that i was alright by myself , and he should stay a little longer and enjoy with his friends , but he was already dragging me out of the crowd and to a near by bar , so what would you like to drink ? He asked , a glass of water would be good enough , i said , he gave me a little smile , and ordered the bartender to get a glass of water for me and a carlsberg beer for him , he offered me water , i was so thirsty that I didn't realize and gulped it down in one go . Wow ! Do u want another one, perhaps something stronger , should i order u a beer ? Noah asked me . No , thats okay , i dont drink , i said with a silly smile on my lips . His mouth formed an o and he said to me sarcasm in his tone , there's always a first time , if you want to try , no pressure ! I thought what the hell ! May be it was high time i let loose and enjoy the party , so i said to him , to order me something, which he thinks is accurate for the first time, he smiled at me , and asked the bartender for 2 vodka shots , i raised my eyes and said really ! Vodka , I thought you would go little slow and just order me a root beer , with sarcasm in my tone , to which he chuckled and replied sheryl thats how we do it here in brighton , vodka for first timers , dont worry i wont get you drunk , and incase you do , i 'll tale care of you , you can trust me . There was a certain seriousness in his tone , which made me want to believe him . The bartender got us our shots , and i got a little excited, so sherly! Noah said , the trick is to hold a piece of lemon in one hand , and the shot glass in other , just drown the shot at one go , do not sip it , it might leave a burning sensation at ur throat and stomache , but thats okay , just squeeze the lemon juice in your mouth as soon as you have gulped the vodka down , it'll make the burning sensation lighter . I looked at h wide eyed as he gulped down the shot in one go , his eyes were squinted little , and he squeezed the lemon in his mouth , after he was done with shot , he let out a loud harsh from his mouth , shook his head a little , then turned towards me , and said your turn !
I gulped down the saliva forming in my mouth, and ignored the lillle churning in my stomache , amd took the shot glass in one hand and the piece of lemom in other . Go for it ! He said , i didnt think twice , and gulped down the vodka in one go , as soon as the liquid hit my throat , a sharp burning sensation was formed there , it made me squint my eyes in digust , i quickly held the lemon to my mouth and squeezed the juice in , it made my the burning sensation soothed down a little. I kept my eyes closed for a second or two and let the liquid , rush thru my stomache, the feeling was pathetic , but , it gave a little swoon drowning freling in my head , which felt good . When i opened my eyes , i saw Noah stare at me in amusement, what ? I asked him , nothing he said , so how did that feel , would you like another one ? Actually i would love another shot i said to him , he gave a little chuckle and turned towards the bar , and asked the bartender to get 4 more shots , as soon as the bartender got our drink , i drowned my share of two shots , immediately, now i could feel the buzz in My head go louder and the music noise to drift away slowly , the feeling was amazing , i told Noah , i wanted to drink more. I don't really remember, how many shots i had , but i was really drunk , and started to feel that my body was looding control , but strangely it felt so damn good to be out of control for once , i felt Noah grab me by my arm , as i was about to fall , I giggled like a silly girl , and said something that i didnt really understand , what ? I said , but i just giggled in reply , you are high sheryl lets get you a little sober , he dragged me to the dance floor and we stared to dance like crazy , the dancing helped me sober up a little and gain back my conscious, but the tipsy feeling was still there , i saw Noah stare at , while i was dancing so i stopped and looked at him . Thump! Someone pushed me from the back , and I stumbled, but before i could fall Noah caught me by my waist , we were so close , his hands felt so tight and secure around me , you alright ? He asked our faces were only inches apart , and all i could see were his lips , which looked so inviting, i do t know what took over , but i crashed my lips to his , and started kissing him with all my passion , i felt his eyes widen his shock as he was taken by surprise, but he tightened his grip on my waist , and started kissing me back , i felt as if fireworks were exploding all around me , as he deepnes the kiss , and we were lost in the kiss , right in The middle of the stage ....
