Normani walked into Camila's office with a cup of tea in her hand. Camila was watching her laptop's screen, but Normani know, her mind was somewhere else and she's positive that Camila wasn't doing her work, but was staring at a certain green eyed girl's picture on the screen.

"Mila!" Normani called and knock on the desk, making Camila jump.

"What the hell, Mani!? You're startling me!" Camila exclaimed.

"I don't understand you, Mila." Normani began as she sat on the chair, "She went crazy and karate chopped you right in the face and here you are, still missing her like crazy."

"She apologized." Camila said, sighing.

Normani rolled her eyes, "You guys are not married yet and she had raised her hand on you. What will happen after you guys get married? Abuse you?"

"She won't do that... That day, she was mad at me ... and it's my fault actually...I lied to her...I totally deserve it." Camila said, defending her again.

"And you forgive her? Hmmm, lucky bitch." Normani said, mumbling the last part.

"Mani, you don't understand...You've never been in love!"

"Is that an insult, I smell?" Normani said, pretending to sniff the air, "Not yet, Mila!" she said, pouting.

Camila chuckled at her best friend's antics, "When are you going to make a move on Dinah?"

"Hello! I'm Normani Kordei Hamilton, and I don't make the first move!"

"Whatever Mani." Camila laughed, "Just know that, the higher you put your ego, the more it shattered when it fall."

"Whatever." Normani rolled her eyes. "By the way, tomorrow is your birthday. Let's go to the club yeah?"

"I don't wanna..." Camila whined.

"Why not? I'll call Ally so we can celebrate the day you're getting old together. Okay?" Normani said, persuading her.

"No. I don't have the mood to celebrate this year...Not without my sweet, sweet Lauren..."

"Oh my god, Mila! Stop involving Lauren with everything! This is about you!" Normani exclaimed, frustrated with her best friend.

"I'm just hoping, Mani. I know for a fact that she won't celebrate my birthday with me." Camila sighed, "I've run out of ideas. I don't know how to make her understand that I really love her..."

"Try give up." Normani mumbled.

"No way!" Camila said, glaring at her.

Austin fix his ray ban as he made his way to Lauren, who was feeding the fish. Since he met the girl, his heart has been wondering more about her. The girl Camila and Demi always talked about. And what he doesn't like the most about the girl is the way Camila looked at her.

"Lauren..." He called, making the girl jumped slightly and nearly fall into the pond. She turned around with a hand placed on her chest.

"Austin..." Lauren said, faking a smile. 'Asshole! Thank god I didn't fall.'

"I am looking for Demi, but she's not here." Austin said, looking straight at Lauren's scar through his shade. He really hates looking at that scar. Even though she might not be the person who had shot him, but the scar reminds him of that event.

"Maybe she's at the diner." Lauren said, returning to her work.

Austin hummed, "Actually, I've run out of time. Can I leave you a message for her?"
