That voice. I know it from anywhere. I slowly turned around and saw her. "Lydia." I said softly. She looked at me for which felt like forever before she gave me a quick kiss on the lips. "I missed you. Why did you leave class so quickly?" she was always one to know what I was up to, but I just didn't feel like dealing with her at this moment. I was too busy trying to figure out what was going on with myself. "I just wanted to get out of there before anyone else could." I replied with a slight smile. I wanted to avoid questions for today. She just simply nodded her head, told me that she loved me, and walked to her next class. I've been hearing those words more and more often now and I still haven't returned them, but I know that she knew how I felt.

As the day went on it seemed to drag. The classes seemed longer, the teachers seemed more annoying, and don't even get me started on the people. I was relieved that it was finally lunch time, but I used it to have a few moments alone sitting on the steps in the hallway, reflecting. I finally had a few moments of peace and quiet.. that is until I heard someone walk down the hall in my direction. "Great." I said sarcastically and groaned. "What do you want?"
