Ugh! Mondays are horrible. Everyhing that can possibly go wrong, has. And now you here that there is a massive storm coming. Great, you think. Now there will be water leaking through the many holes in the roof of your house. Well at least because of the storm, you don't have to go to work. At least you will get some laundry done. You are starting the first load when the wind and rain really start to pick up. You decide to sit down and read while waiting for the cycles to be done. All of a sudden, you hear a crack and then a huge crash. You press up against the wall as the whole house shakes. Then all you hear is the roaring sound of the wind. Louder than it was before the crash. You walk into the kitchen and see the massive oak tree that used to be standing in your front yard, laying on top of the hole in the caved in ceiling. You are shocked and decide to call the roof repairman right away. You are still standong in the kitchen, gawking at the ceiling, when you hear a knock on the door. You open it to find a rather attractive man standing in the rain and wind with his toolbelt.

"Hello. Are you Y/N?", he asks.

"Yes, I am," you reply.

"Looks like you got a slight problem with your roof," he said jokingly.

"Ya, but if you want to come back tomorrow, I understand. It's pouring out there."

"I don't mind,"he said,"a pretty lady like you ought to have a nice roof so that she stays dry!" he said.

And with that, he went to get his ladder.

~a while later~

The storm is still blowing, but not so hard now. The man comes back to your door.

"All done," he says.

"I'm sorry," you say,"but I never got your name."

"Darrel, he says, "Darrel Curtis. Darry for short."

"Well Darry. Do you want to come in and stay a while? I make a mean black coffee."

"Might as well. I'm not getting any younger," he says jokingly.

And that was the beginning of your fantastic relationship with Darrel Curtis.

~And the rest is up to you~
