Jack

Chapter 2, The girl

Jack sat in grass under the tree. He didn't know what to do but he didn't want to think the thought of- never mind. He panicked. The spider hissed at him. Jack couldn't run. He picked up anything he could find near him. He found a loose stick. He picked it up and threw it at the spider. The spider caught and snapped in two. He was doomed. He closed his eyes waiting for the spider to attack. He heard a loud screech come from  the spider. Then it fell over, it died. 

He looked at the spider. Then a girl his age jumped off the spider. She was holding a sword. She looked at Jack. She was beautiful. She looked very strong. 

"Who are you?" Jack hadn't spoken in forever.

"Humph, you should at least say thank you I saved you" She pouted.

"Look, I don't know you and thanks" Jack whispered.

"Well, I am Mitsumi and I am a warrior girl" She posed as she said.

"I can see tha- OUCH" Jack screamed as the pain of his leg ached.

She walked over to him, "What happen to you leg" 

"I kinda... tripped" He said with embarrassment. 

"Well, we gotta heal it before it gets infected" She said.

She went to gather some plants that would help heal his injured leg. Jack tried to get up and help, but his leg was too injured. He sat and watched. She walked over to him. 

"Here I'm going to put some of this ointment on your leg, it may burn" She said as she carefully dripped the medication on to his leg.

"ouch..." He tried to hide the pain.

"We need to find shelter too" She said.

"OK..."

The girl built a shelter and said to the boy. "I'm leaving tonight"

"What about my injury" He cried.

"It'll heal by tomorrow" and with that she left.

He felt so lonely that night. He used to have company, now he's all alone. He then fell asleep.

~Dream~

"I hate you get out of my life!!" yelled Jack to his father.

"DON'T USE THE TONE" Yelled his father. 

"WELL I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY" Yelled Jack.

The father slapped the child across the face. "Shut up bitch, you should have died with your mother!" The father screamed.

"NOOO... it was a dream" Jack said with a relief but he started to cry. "I'm so lonely..."
