"Teleion!" Yells the Cleric from downstairs.

Teleion opens one eye and looks out the window. He sees the rolling forests of the Eversong woods. The leaves crisp orange and yellow. The Sun indicates it's almost mid morning.

That means he has slept in. He then bounced out of his bed and rushed to put his white robes on. After slipping on his robes he opens the door and goes down the stairs 3 steps at a time.

The Cleric waiting there with his arms crossed. His steel blue eyes look at him with irritation. He opens his mouth and begins to speak in a sharp tone.

"You slept in, again" He says

"Sorry, I stayed up reading" Teleion replies

"Mm..." He says narrowing his eyes

"Let's go Yip, don't wanna be any later than we already are"

"How many times have I told you not to call me Yip?"

"Let's just go"

He then turns around on his heel and walks off. Teleion follows close behind. Last night he actually didn't spend all night reading, as Yip probably could tell. He was out with his friends roaming Eversong.

That night they talked with on of Teleion's old friend's Beir Starstring. He was the person who put him in the church they had said to him. Beir was tall and handsome. With smooth olive oil skin and jet black hair. He was one of the Ranger's even though he hardly wore their clothing and liked the green rags of camouflage.

His friends, along with Beir, all were very proud of Teleion. He was one of the youngest to be promoted to an elder priest. His 60th birthday was celebrated only a month ago.

"Beir can I ask you something?" Teleion asked

"Anything" He replied with a playful grin on his face

"What happened the day you took me to the church"

Beir's eyes suddenly became dark. He replied quickly with "I'll tell you later"

He decided not to press further than that. When he finally returned to his room he collasped on his bed until Yip came and got him.

Finally they emerge from the church into the courtyard. He had always had found memories of the courtyard growing up here. The bushes and plants looked like embers. The trees swayed beautifully in the summer day as the wind swayed them. The fountain in the middle spews water so clear and blue it could be silk.

As Teleion walks down the line he sees countless familiar faces. He spots Beir and some of his friends from town talking and joking among themselves. Beir's eye catches his and he gives Teleion a wink then returns joking with the rest of the young elves.

He soon makes his way up to were the Magister is. He is tall for an elf standing around 6'6". He has long white hair and a gentle smile. He smiles at Teleion before turning to the crowd.

"Attention" says the Magister in a silky voice. "We have come here today to accept the young adept, Teleion Redfury, into our ranks as a full member. Today he will join the light and become one with it"

There are some cheers in the crowd before the Magister continues, "He has been a promising student. He has learned much the last 20 years and should become a fine priest. Teleion, please stand"

He takes in a deep breath then stand up in front of his friends and family. He spots some children in the background squirming in their seats. Soon he might be one to train and care for them. His new responsibilities were freighting yet invigorating. He couldn't wait to start his new life. Then everything went to hell.

A scream comes from outside the church walls. Yelling can be heard and the bell can be heard ringing in the distance. Suddenly and elf with a sword in hand comes through the door.

"Trolls are attacking!" He yells before whipping his head back around the join the chaos outside.

Everyone looks at the Magister as his face becomes grim. He sighs and then speaks clearly and calmly to them. "Didn't you hear him? Trolls outside are destroying our village! Get going now and help!" He says. With that the Clerics and Priests rush around grabbing their staff or anything that looks like it could be used as a weapon.

As for the adepts including Teleion are put into a church cellar. "Don't come out no matter what." says Yip as he stands right outside the cellar "We will open the door once we repealed the attacker." He then closes the door and we hear a click of him locking it. Right after that the Adepts get into a fight about the situation.

"What do we do? Were going to die!" Says one

"We should stay in here. I mean there has to be at least 1,000 people fighting out there right?" Says another

"Why don't you to just shut up and be quiet" a third says looking at the other two irradiated

Soon all the adepts are fighting with each other

"Stop!" Teleion yells. "We don't need to be fighting each other"

"What do you wanna do then?" asks the third adept. His name comes into Teleion's mind. Ma'thas Blackflame. His parents were killed in the first war when they were on aiding Stormwind. He has always been bitter to everyone else.

"Well, I don't think it's a good idea to stay in here, especially if there burning down the buildings. We better get out and head to Slivermoon" he says

They all look around and nod. Ma'thas glares at him but nods his head grudgingly. They then try opening the door by force. It doesn't budge at all.

"Stand back" Teleion says. He extends his hand and feels the light flow through his finger tips. The door blasts open with splinters of wood flying everywhere.

When they emerge from the cellar door the courtyard is empty. They go through the church and find the wasteland in front of them. It had only been in the cellar about 20 minutes. In that time several building were on fire. Some bodies lay on the ground and you could only see some figures moving through the fire and ash.

"We need to help them" Says one from the back

"Are you insane that's suicide" Ma'thas replies

Teleion looks to see the bodies that litter the ground. Their faces unmoving, there expressions in a permanet face of terror. He turn around to face the adepts.

"They are full alleged priests, we have to escape and warn anyone we can. We should probably head to Slivermoon" He says then start trudging off into the woods.

The rest look at each other and then start making their way towards the woods away from the battle. Away from the chaos... or so they think.
